  • Brandon Smith - Charged with drug supply and ‘inside knowledge’ betting

Something always felt slightly off about him when he was with us - like he was distracted and not totally committed.

There was also a rumour or two about owing teammates money.

But this was the real answer I guess. Tied up in shady business.

I'm sure the Rabbitohs are fuming.

    Appearing in court in Sept.
If he's got any money, he should spend it on hiring the best lawyer and barrister he can afford.
These charges are serious, nothing to be taken lightly.

Interesting, from that Foxsports link ...Teddy says he rates Sandon Smith as highly as Sam Walker.

There's no way I'd be letting Sandon Smith go anywhere.
Pay him enough he might stay.
$500,000 and a new car, same DCE might work.

Was he involved with that footage of players supposedly snorting stuff a little while back?

Glad he's now at Souffs, perfect match in my eyes.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Hopefully that's Tedesco's way of sending a subtle message to management that he doesn't want to play with DCE next year.

I'd love a thread on an All Star Souffs Crim XIII. It would be hard to fit them all in.

They do. It's called Long Bay Jail.

This is also their number 1 tourist attraction.

Not looking good for Radley. Some damaging stuff in today’s Herald. Politis is a man of his word. I reckon he’s gone.

They all do it. Radley just dumb enough to get caught.

                      Dear, oh dear ...

Not sure how Rads is going to get out of this one, as Politis is not going to be the one made to look like a fool

Given Radley faces no charges, that the police have dragged his name into this given the effect it could have on his livelihood and his professional career, is an absolute disgrace. And all for what? Some low level charge against a small time suburban dealer selling eight-balls? How farkin dare they.

If Radley was facing charges involved in high level drug distribution or whatever, then fine. But he's not. He's not facing any charges. If it was so important they publish Smith's test messages, Radley's name should have been redacted. Pathetic performance from the police.

that’s what I don’t get either, Radleys name should have been blanked out.

Even if his name was blanked out by police the messages would have still been released and ultimately his name would have come out. There are no secrets in situations like this.
He will not be in trouble by police or the NRL. It all comes back to what Uncle Nick said and the media is already in a frenzy raising what he said at any opportunity. It's Uncle Nick's reputation on trial. Like it has been with DCE and Uncle Nick's word or hand shake deal.

The behind the scene agenda / agendas not spoken of. I mentioned before and some Chook Pen crack pot had a shot about my previous comment of suspecting Radley’s name in the police report was thru nefarious means either thru the police or police and media working together. So Chammas a channel 9 gutter journo and ch9 Brisbane a Broncos sponsor release the story following the Walsh non suspension. Strategic media roll out.
