  • No Trespassing - Whyte - Collins - Lenui patrol these grounds.

Collectively these 3 have added a hard edge to our pack.

Radley, Watson, Foketi, Wong, E Butcher and Steep have also stepped up to plate. We've become a force to be reckon with again! This is now clear after our 3rd consecutive win especially after making the Bulldogs pack look so submissive.

The big dog left a void when he retired and it's finally been filled again. I reckon he'd be proud of the boys after last nights performance.

I still think the Raiders have the best forward pack & both Penrith & Melbourne are hard arse the Dogs are not in their league & cannot win the comp.
The Roosters pack has the potential to be up there with Canberra, Penrith & the Storm buts its probably 2026 when we'll compete with them. This year has been a a great learning experience for Whyte, Foketi, Steep & Wong after losing JWH, May & Sitilli.
There is some real quality coming out of the Chooks & all of them developed by the Chooks.
I think Teddy & Gus are the only 2 players that didnt debut for the Chooks from last nights team thats unbelievable. In by gone years we would have had 2 players in the 17 who debuted for us & the other 15 we would have bought.

I reckon Spencer may have played a game or two in those 3 premierships he won with Penrith.

        Correct
        Make it 3 players.
Still remarkable how the club has turned 180 degrees on player recruitment. This pathways & academy the Chooks have set up under Robbo is the backbone of the club now.
Like every year people on her want Robbo sacked but as Ive said many times Robbo is the Roosters.

Funny thing is, when we’re struggling, it’s always fans from other clubs and the media asking, “Why isn’t Robinson under pressure?” They just want chaos at the Roosters. What they don’t get is that Nick and the board have always been rock solid behind Robbo. Coaching merry-go-rounds are best left to the Tigers, Titans, Parra, Dragons, and even the Broncos.

2 more wins and the 'Salary Sombrero' crap will reignite. Tallis can't wait!

All the critics of Robbo earlier this year are now eating humble pie . Comments that he needs to be sacked were ridiculous. It’s evident now that the whole playing group believe in him, as well as each other.

Same thing goes for all the negative comments about getting rid of Spencer, Lindsay , Angus, Nat , Egan and Rads. They were still putting in when the Roosters were alternately winning and losing games.

Sure, you can be critical of their performances, but saying they should be pissed off to another club is just off.

BTW, I will be critical of Rooster players when they deserve it, but I rarely do.

As for the Roosters being a force in 2026, forget that. The team is already a force in 2025. Live in the moment.

2026 could bring anything- injuries? God forbid. The future is completely unknown.

Tallis will be waiting for us in the last round, he's got some pace that kid (Dad joke). Ex Colt too.

The season is Ground Hog Day. Robbo treats us to this level of excitement and suspense every year. Focus first on combinations, the minutiae and spirit, every loss a learning experience and then Shazam, world beaters. So far the finale hasn't been great however.

                    Tallis Duncan?

Bryan Fletcher was a Colt. There were some handy players in that junior team however life somehow got in the way.

The Academy brought him down from the Hunter. He played just a handful for the nuts'n'bolts.

He’s a genius at timing our run into the finals. It’s just a shame we lost a few games that we really should have won as this will probably ultimately cost us.

Been pleasantly surprised with Egan butcher last few weeks. A lot more aggressive in carries and tackles which we’ve been looking for

I agree on Egan, and I’ve been super critical of him for the last year or so. When he initially burst onto the scene he looked like he could be anything, the better Butcher, but then his form went backwards. Are we now seeing his coming of age; I bloody well hope so and I hope he continues to grow his game. I also think Robbo is using him way better and the competition for spots has lifted his (and everyone’s) game.
