  • Your 5 best take outs from the Bulldogs game.

    1. Sammy Walker. How good is this lad. There's definitely a level of maturity in his game. He's more selective and is now playing the long game.
    2. Radley. Arguable in career best form and what a difference it's making to the teams overall performance.
    3. Toops just keeps delivering. Greatest winger of all time imo.
    4. Teddy. 200 plus meters once again and strong leadership. Best player in the world imo.
    5. The referee. Now that's how a game should be officiated! Klein would've sent countless players to the bin. 10/10

      As do I.

Where has this team been for 5 months?
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

        1) As your first point alludes to, Sam Walker is a superstar. He not only has elevated his game, but since coming back, he has also elevated everyone around him.
        2) The 3 man starting combo of Whyte, Leinu, and Collins is paying dividends. Whyte and Spencer are laying the platform for us and setting the game up nicely. Spenny is finally proving why we signed him. Collins is playing great defensively.
        3) Ioelu starting at 9, running havoc, and buttering up the game for Connor when he comes up is a masterstroke. Has a really sharp kicking game as well. Adds another dimension to the team. Lets Watson come on full of energy, rather than gassing himself making 100 tackles, and then being ineffective in attack.
        4) Someone has spat magic powers into Egan Butchers gatorade. He’s played better the past three weeks for us, than in his entire Roosters career.
        5) Love LOVE the mongrel of this team now. Lacked it for the whole season. When a player gets hit high, everyone runs in. The boys are playing for each other. Really enjoying the intensity we are playing teams with. Brothers in arms. FINALLY playing like a team, rather than a team of individuals.

Bring on Parra, Melbourne, and Souths.

All of this plus our prop rotation especially Whytes enforcer mentality, & i also noticed Walker toning down his tempo in moments when needed then speeding it up again when needed, loved it!!!!

              1. Naufahu Whyte
              2. The role that Benaiah Ioelu is playing in the run on side, not many would have picked him starting & contributing to us fighting to make the finals, I think most would have Watson starting & have Docker Clay off the bench. Really well done to him & its credit to the Roosters pathways.
              3. Teddy Toups & Marky are deadly
              4. Sammy & Hugo in the halves.
              5. Trent Robinson

At times Benny reminds me of a young Cam Smith who imo is the GOAT. This kid could be anything. I love seeing him drive our forwards and pulling things back into shape when we start to get too loose. This shows maturity!

I hate to say it but with Robson arriving next season another team could potentially score big time and lure Benny away.

Egan can play and is an asset.

No more ball playing for Egan.

His role has been simplified and it's making a huge difference. Why risk turning the ball over when you have the games most creative playmaker in Sammy the magician. Points for are no longer an issue with Walker back!

If I can contain to only 5, they are:

                      - Whyte has come of age and is the form prop in the comp.

                      - Sammy is one of the best players in the comp full stop.

                      - Benny has so much potential as a dummy half, interesting to see where he fits in with Robson.

                      - Egan has played the best footy of his career for us these last 3-4 weeks.

                      - Dogs look far worse with Galvin in their side than Sexton.
