We've got centres galore.
I can see only really see him in the second row.
Or that all time classic Easts position: the natural second rower who play as prop.
Chook.

We've been cleaning out and rebuilding for years.
Now the big plan seems to be to sign an ex-2004 Premiership winning Bulldog.
Who's a second rower.
I mean fcuk.
You wouldn't read about it.
Go Easts.

I know many on here won't agree but Braith can still be proud of his achievments and longevity in the game.
While this year has not been great by his standards and what we as fans would like, his overll career and contribution to Easts deserves some positive recognition.
I recall many times (not this year) where i have rated Braith in our best players for a game, and I think he has set a good behavioural standard and as a club ambassador off the field.
He always had an impossible mountain to climb here being hailed as the "next Fittler".
A good player and a good bloke.
Regardless.

As it turns out Braith's last home game in our colours is against the Tigers - what a coincidence.
If he plays as well then as he did when we played them at Leichhardt it will be a fitting end to his Roosters career -that game is the only one he's actually fired up for all season!!
I wish the bloke well and he's been a good clubman until this season, but I've got to the stage where the sooner he goes the better. His heart is clearly no longer in it and it shows in the bulk of his performances.
The Tiges are welcome to him.
NCSupporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

woodsta, what a great thrill that must have been?! a few years back a courier driver delivered something to my office at qantas, as he waited for my signature i had a good look at him, he was alan mackean the best stepping fullback in the game in his time, i unashamedly asked him to sit down offered him and got him a coffee and chatted about all things easts and playing under gibbo etc.. that was a great thrill for vme, im sure you felt the same way? how good was it the poster was still up in your swons room! he would have got a buzz out of that too?
