Again tonight another 2 crucial errors in the last 10 min from Edwards which lost them the game in the end
and every week the commentators say you will never see that again after he makes multiple unforced errors every game

    get sick of hearing it

anyone he is one of more overated players in the comp

all I can say is glad we have Teddy

Haha you are exactly right - you’ll never see that again then 7 minutes later we see it again.

He did play very well tonight though up until that first dropped ball.

Teddy>Edwards by a fair bit though.

he was very poor at the start of the year until the last month or so and didn’t do much in SOO

Teddy will be remembered as one of the best fullbacks and NRL players of all time.

Dylan Edwards won’t be. Says it all really

Are the Roosters up to this level of footy. Quiet boring to watch but the riffs 100% completions in the first half was a testament to their processes. Dont milk either.

Yeah Teddy's in the running for a second Dally M despite the fact he might not even make the finals (telling as you only really get points when you win).

I'm sure Edwards is better at IT and if he ends his career at Souffs, Farq-hard might get him a job at Atlassian designing red-tapey business process tools. However, Teddy's better at playing footy. He's also more classy coz he's Italian

Teddy by the stretch and it always has been.

Edwards is a very good player and was a solid option for Maguire when appointed Blues coach at the expense of Freddy. Maguire clearly wanted to reenergise and put his own stamp on the team following another flogging at the hands of the Maroons. It wasn't warranted on form though.

With the Blues winning that series, Meninga found it easy to follow Maguires blueprint and sacrifice Teddy, rather than reflect on his own performance, following Australia's heavy defeat at the hands of the Kiwis in the Pacific Cup final towards the end of 2023.

It is a testament to Teddy and the champion he is, the way in which he conducted himself following this. Didn't get the attention it should have but I thought it was a disgraceful way to treat a player that gave his all to both teams. Not sure if any of that drives Teddy, but he has sent a clear message to all those that were so enamoured by the shiny, new but inferior toy that is Edwards.

Of course you are absolutely right. But I would rather watch our team's heart in the mouth style everyday of the week.

Yeah I dunno what to make about Cleary sooking about Grant's blatant milking (to the point where he farking ran backwards, stretched his arm out to touch the guy and was like 'oooh oooh obstruction!!!')

Nah Pemriff's never done that and it wasn't their defence on the subsequent set that cost them. Never!

So there was only one 6A last night. I find it hard to believe that 26 individual players from two of the top ladder teams never ever ever ever go early in defence.

Game managers have their favourites and orchestrate close games as requested by PVL.

when the drizzle had their shot a minute after grants milk they had a block player but the riff didnt milk it. klien up to his tricks again. choosing when and where he want to see his face on the screen.

Teddy is the better player and fullback by a country mile and the way he was dropped from the rep teams was a disgrace. The media backlash over that situation should have been greater, in fact it was non existent, because they all love the Edward’s fairytale story. We are so lucky to have Teddy. And yeah, it’s true every time Edwards stuffs up, we get the ‘you never see that’. The commentators are all full of cliches.

I don’t know, maybe they’re just on autopilot or are robots that just regurgitate what they’ve heard their fellow commentators say each week without actually thinking about what they’re saying. Or maybe they’re told to just exaggerate everything to the nth degree. The storm has been dropping the ball all year and they delight in showing Bellamy on camera reacting in his usual way to every dumb error but the commentators will still say that’s very un-Storm like!! To’o was tackled close to the line last night and Voss said ‘To’o is never stopped when that close to the line’ yet I recall Queensland stopping him multiple times in origin this year. Cleary apparently ‘never gets it wrong’, and ‘always makes the big moments count’ but where is he in origin I always ask? I’m sure I can think of more but I’ve got things to do lol.
