I think the switcheroo is on the cards again.
Spencer was effective starting when the fire and brimstone was lit against the dolphins.
Rads and Connor were effective off the bench when things cooled down a little.

The Dogs know the plan to beat us is to starve us of the ball and wait for us to self destruct, discipline and the long game is key here, they will play the possession game high percentage low risk and try to smash us in defence with aggressive line speed, if we can get to positions on the field where Walker can thread the ball through the line we will score points.
We have more weapons then they do, Kikau running at Sammy will be a focal point of their attack, Chrichton is the obvious weapon on the edge, Burton bombs to Mark we know what they’re going to do question is can we stop it?

Reckon Galvin is their weak point. He wasn't keen taking on the line against Wests and can have errors.

I think we can out muscle their pack easy but keep the stupid stuff out. Hope Markey has had plenty of catching practice. Burton and Critter, try halting them and they'll get frustrated into errors

Good side. Pretty much what we’d expect to name. I prefer Foketi over Egan as always but I also see the value of the impact off the bench Foketi has.

I believe Kikau (left edge) will be on the same side as Savala (right edge), which fills me with more confidence as Savala's defence is very strong.

I don't think so, but any team with someone named Jethro in it, needs to be demolished.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the match up is Billy vs Critta.
I am looking forward to see how that unfolds.

                  Correctomundo.

Billy left centre. Crichton right centre.

Steep the obvious inclusion. Good team. The big test is here.

                    Let's go Easts.
All...of those players must be kept long term.
                    Every one.
                    No exceptions.

Spencer must be counselled by the "cool/calm/rational" whisperer before Friday night.
He must not get angry and go 'crazy' anymore in games.
We simply cannot afford to be giving away dumb penalties and having players in the bin.

                    Go Roosters!

So do I. I hope he puts on another show. I like it when the Roosters wear the black hat. More often than not, I think it brings out the best in us, and I think it galvanises the young fellas. The spirit was back against the Dolphins and you could see all our boys had a one in, all in attitude.

Spencer doesn't need to give away penalties or get sin-binned. Just chirp away and call people out and make them come after him, then play the type of footy he did following his sin bin.

No excuses with that team and out trajectory.

Let's see if what we're made of.

                          It's all on us.

Looks like it’s going to be a wet ground at the very least with rain today and tomorrow - we played beautiful wet weather footy against the Sea Eagles with less errors than any other preceding game this year. I hope we can do it again on Friday. Handling in that Manly game was exceptional given the conditions then again against the Phinns - hopefully we have turned that fumbles corner as it’s killed us plenty this year.

Unfortunately Robinson has an extremely poor record against the top teams maybe he could be assistant to DCE next year and see how we go
