    Round 7: Roosters v Knights | Roosters

same 1-17 as the last two weeks. good to have consistency. both papalii and fressard have been named on the extended bench.
knights have won their last five so it'll be a tough match. a win here and we're closer to securing an all important top two spot.

The Knights bench is pretty light on. I would like to think that we’ll finish way too strong for them. Good luck to whichever of their bench props has to stop Amber Hall.

twenty four hours out and we're 1-17 but with fressard in the 19. either we're giving her a chance to prove her fitness or she'll be in the 17 with mia probably the unlucky one to miss out.
papalii is turning out for the reserve team again

That really sucks for Baxter the leg simply isn't meant to twist like that.

          fingers crossed she's alright.
too many errors from the girls. have shown glimpses of just what a great team they are to watch but have pushed a few too many final passes. ended up with the knights having 52% of the ball.
should come home strong with the wind behind them but the knights aren't without spirit

47% completion rate after 42 minutes as an absolute abomination of ball control.

yeah, not the girls' best game but an important two points. they're in the box seat for a top two spot and a week off. too many errors but their class couldn't help but show itself.

Good result for the girlies. Both Easts teams this weekend have beaten 3rd placed opponents.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

still no news on baxter's knee.
good to see aiken back to top form. with her speed and ability to pass she's such a dangerous runner. kernick's work rate is crazy - she must be super fit. all the girls were great and i thought it was lopamaua's best game of the season to date

                      Olivia's on fire.
She was in everything yesterday trumping some former team mates with solid hits.

I reckon Jocelyn Kelleher is the most improved player in the NRLW. So skilful and versatile.

Her running game has improved so much after being used as a dummy half/utility for NSW in the SOO series.

Great news for Corban Baxter who has seemingly dodged a bullet with her knee structurally intact and was diagnosed with a low grade ankle sprain and is an outside chance of playing this weekend.
