I don't think we will be able to hang onto young Benny. With Robson playing big minutes at hooker and Watto to fill in, there won't be a regular place for him in the 17 next season. The other clubs will come knocking.

Buzz made an interesting take on the DCE signing in the radio show he does. Honour the contract but only in an assistant coaching capacity.

If old mate DCE was any sort of good bloke, which none of the manly players or management think he is, but if he was a decent bloke, after this many years in first grade, and on a $million a season plus for the last 10 of them at least, he'd not want to stand in the way of a young guy, just so he can earn yet another $million, as the oldest player in the comp.

Of course he would be very well aware of the emergence of Hugo. He knows he is not needed here. Be a good bloke for once, DCE.

Or be a dick and play reserve grade. If only that could be at Manly, instead of here.
