  • Thoughts watching the replay

    - Collins making better runs and more metres taking his runs 2 passes wide.
    - Billy Smith's ball throw straight into the face of that number 13 dolphin gronk after he scored. Same bloke clipped Tupou after his 2nd try as well. Tedesco and Crichton laughing in gronk's face. It must be a thing not to get hit in the face with the ball thrown by your opponent. Billy caught him flush, it was awesome.
    - Benny the number 9 is next level sharp.
    - Whyte close to the best prop in the comp.
    - Spencer enormous, cops a lot of attention but he (and Whyte) clearly had the better of their aggressors last night. I wouldn't feed that Francis Molo. Spencer and Fahu are leagues above him as footballers.
    - Walker was brilliant, and so was Hugo.
    - A lot of players can't pass that well left to right. Hugo has an incredible left to right pass. Both torpedo and side helicopter variety. Both bullets. And he straightens his run before passing. People have no idea how much difference that ability will make over thousands of plays.
    - Victor impressive as he eases back into things. A couple of big plays. And no crazy head knock plays. The crash play try takes the type of balls Victor has. Thank god no head knock though.
    - Rob Toia moves like really no-one else.
    - The brilliance of Walker and the long ball pass to Tupou, where he just ran around in a circle and sucked them in that little bit more, before throwing the long ball to Toups that he was always going to throw anyway
    - Nice play Egan is a much better player than given credit for
    - Crichton was good
    - Mark, pretty much out of words to describe him. Other than freak.
    - Tedesco. As above.

I haven't watched the replay yet however watched the highlights numerous times and they're highly entertaining.

The set up play from Sammy for the Toops try was so cheeky and all class. He sucks them into thinking he'll play short. He draws them in before hitting Toops which was always his intension.

He made another great tackle last night following his big hit last week. The boy is on fire!

I'd like to take this opportunity and thank Manly for playing him back into red hot form.

Surely Teddy is still the best fullback in the game.

I don't think we will be able to hang onto young Benny. With Robson playing big minutes at hooker and Watto to fill in, there won't be a regular place for him in the 17 next season. The other clubs will come knocking.

A second Daly M should confirm that.

Can’t disagree with any of those points. Best game E Butcher has played in a very very long time. Everyone was on song on Sat and it was a sight to behold.

Teddy is light years ahead of Edwards and I cannot fathom how it’s even a debate.

I've been watching Penrith play. Both Edward and Cleary have found some form post SOO.

With that said, Teddy is simply the best!

Do you know when his current contract runs out? I think you’re right though I don’t see how we can keep him assuming we have both Watto and Robson. The sad part is he’s probably got more upside in him than both of them at this stage. I’m loving what we get from him this season.

Just looked it up current contract runs out end of 2028 so if we really want him we have him until then but that’s no guarantee I know.

                    Next year.

                    14. Watson.
                    9. Robson.

ZDC Depth as he'd be cheap and good value for money

Young Benny may jag himself a lucrative deal with another club that's willing to roll the dice on the youngster. I rate him however you can't keep them all!

I can see a spot for Benny on the bench with Watto's main position being lock. Probably starting at lock. Rads starting second row or on the bench.
                      I think ZDC is leaving.

Yes and with DCE, do we find a spot on the bench for Hugo as well? The bench normally needs 3 forwards....

Edwards is a very solid quality player he’s just not in Teddys league in any metric.

                            I've watched the game twice.
                            That is unusual.

Their completion rate was good hardly made any errors .That was a big factor.
Some blokes who were a bit lame as in Lindsay and Spencer have stepped up . When out two went in the bin thought Rads stepped up even more instead of been a headcase.
Bigger game coming up against the Bullchocks this week .This game will define the team for the year i would imagine.
