Finally got my bloody account to work again for a game that was reminiscent of the brutalisation of Souths back in 1992. No Farnworth, no Flippers.

Roosters played semi final type footy tonight.
The defence was stinging and it made the Phins drop the ball, throw wayward passes, make errors and throw intercepts.
There wasn’t a bad player on our side.
Teddy was Teddy
Lindz ran and tackled hard
Whyte ran harder and made even more metres.
Egan was good.
Rads good on both sides of the ball.
Toops made his usual yardage.
Sammy runs across field and dumps an inside ball to a rampaging Angus Crichton. I saw it against Manly and again tonight. It’s a thing of beauty.
Sam turned 3 Dolphins defenders inside out , before throwing the ball for Toops first try. The puppeteer is pulling the strings.
I thought Spencer and Molo were the main protagonists when the furnace ran hot in the first half.
Could you imagine both in Roosters colours?
Absolute carnage. Guaranteed. Every week.
Maybe he is the one that got away?

great to see teddy wearing the artie beetson medal. the two of them might be my two all time favourite roosters. is there a more whole hearted player than teddy?

Your team just had 64 points put on them yet your main focus is how the Roosters players were looking to mouth off and cause fights with the innocent Dolphins players ,give me a break..

IMO Isaako and Donahue coulda been binned. Dolphins have themselves to blame for that one...

The Wolf can say whatever he likes. His team just ceded a large chunk of their seemingly invincible PD in one game. Hope he stays angry instead of reflecting & getting better as it helps us.

surprised the dolphins bloke didn't get penalised for a shoulder charge in the tackle that wong got knocked out from. nothing illegal about the head clash that did the damage but the dolphins bloke coming in from the left went in with the shoulder and that's what pushed wong towards the other bloke's head. egan butcher got put on report for less.

When given a fair go or something close to it we are then allowed to play to our ability.

Late to the party due to a very busy weekend and issues with accessing the Pen but wow what a victory. Such an entertaining and enjoyable game. We can be so so frustrating under Robbo at times but when it clicks there is no better side to watch than us. Champagne rugby league in the truest sense of the word.

I thought the Phins were awful and came into the game with an agenda to get under our skin with some grubby footy. The ref completely lost control of the game and we had the composure to go on with it and give them a rogering while they wilted under pressure. Wherever we finish on the ladder will be very hard for the handful of Phins fans that exist to take any pride in finishing inside the 8 after embarrassing performance like that.
