    Earlier in the same game.
Dolphins have the ball on their quarter line.
    Roosters: Tackle..tackle…tackle.
    li’l Gerry: Penalty Dolphins.
    Roosters “went too early”
Piggyback for Dolphins to the Halfway line
Roosters: Tackle, tackle, tackle , tackle
    li’l Gerry: Penalty Dolphins
    Roosters “went too late”
    Piggyback to Roosters quarter line
Roosters: Tackle, tackle, tackle, tackle, tackle and drag Phins down on the last right under the goalposts.
Roosters: Ruck it out and Hugo kicks the ball on the last so it goes inside the Phins red zone.
Phins have the ball and Roosters tackle, tackle, tackle.
li’l Gerry: Penalty Dolphins . Roosters “cynical & unnecessary” ( screams out) “Victor! Too much force in that tackle. Completely unnecessary. Do it again and you’re in the bin.!”
Piggyback for Dolphins to Roosters 45 metre line.
    Roosters: tackle, tackle, tackle, tackle
li’l Gerry: Penalty Dolphins . “Roosters disrupting the play the ball and ruck” - “ Roosters do Not lay a finger on the Dolphins player in the play the ball”
Piggyback for Dolphins into Roosters red zone.

Fox commentator Greg: “Dolphins looking dangerous and likely to score. They have all the field position. Roosters discipline really poor, Robinson will need to tear strips off them at halftime. What do you think Kevvie?”

Fox commentator Kevvie: “ I agree with everything you say Greg. Dolphins have field position and the next set of six will be great to watch. Isn’t it good to see the Queensland team dominating NSW?

One thing you didn’t mention Greg, was that the Roosters don’t look threatening when they have the ball.

    Go Queenslander !!!
Just listen to Suncorp stadium coming alive - it’s great !! “

Seriously, does anyone know our win/ loss ratio , when li’l Gerry is in charge?

Under Sutton wins 34 losses 28 so win rate 57% ...penalties 240 for 271 against....so it seems we have overcome being on the wrong side of his penalties slightly...so there is hope.. This year we have only had Sutton 3 times... against Brisbane round 1 , Penrith for a loss second time and for a win against the Knight's, so can't blame him for any season losses this year.

Hope not I’m making the journey and don’t want the game ruined by that prick - sadly I can also see it happening as well - hopefully we are good enough to overcome it on Sat.

Game managers have too big an influence on results these days.

Having said that I feel confident we can win this one.

The stench of Mutton x 2. The appointment factoring in a likely win by Melb against the Broncos tonite so to manufacture a dream match up for Ch9 Brisbanes sponsorship of the Broncos when up next week against the Fins, it highly likely because they will be on equal points and of course the game is played in Brisbane. If it occurs then it’s at the expense of Easts the NRL’s most disrespected club.

if last week's anything to go by the boys hare recaptured their mojo. defence was great and sammy had his best game since he's come back. reproduce that and we'll go okay

Despite losing the pom their strike player ..we only have to minimise our penalties and dropped balls and should win.It will be a well earned win.

That's a full strength Roosters team only minus N Butcher & the Dolphins have a few out Farnworth, Bostock, Saifiti, Kaufusi, Flegler, Gilbert & Plath.
On paper we have the better side so the Chooks will want to be ready for a hard arse tough game against the Dolphins.
If we dont win then we dont deserve to make the 8.

He did his best to make it 3 losses for the season in that game.

Was last week’s defensive performance the sign of things to come for the Roosters?
The forwards ( and backs) were gritty in defence and really upped the tempo in D.
Even Robbo mentioned it in his pre- game presser today.
Will the Roosters continue this form and become every other team’s major headache in the finals?
Or do the Roosters bow out with a whimper?
I guess we find out on Saturday.
Robbo also mentioned it’s HOW we play the game, not simply just about winning.
I agree- the performance is everything- forget about us if we win 42 points to 38.
It’s the great part of the season - just like the Melbourne cup - your horse turns into the final straight , and you hope it’s got more gas left in the tank than the others.

dolphins should have firmed to make the semis after hamstring injuries to those bronco players. the raiders will probably rest a few in the last round too. still, every chance they drop one match of their last 4 and maybe the storm rest a few in their game v us if they're assured a top 2 finish.
but no point worrying about all that - looking forward to watching the boys tomorrow. que sera sera
