I tend to feel the same for this game.

I can see Teddy approach him a few times and he will reply with the standard "I didn't see it that way".

I think the 6agains in this game close to our line will kill us off.

This is a good summary of his contributions. Decent workrate and can make some metres but doesnt create any second phase plays, break through the line and his ball handling is atrocious. Also missed an easy tackle which lead to a try on the weekend.

I am yet to see him have a breakout game in all his years where he was MVP or there abouts.

If we can't beat a busted Phins team regardless of the referees with basically our best 17, we don't deserve to play in the finals. Egan can play more positions than Steep who has peaked a little and Losalu is very unlucky not to be playing in front of Spencer.

        Roosters 13+

Would be nice to think so, but you can only keep defending 24 consecutive tackles on your tryline for so long. That's the beauty of the 6 again rule, from the NRL's perspective.

Mutton Head x 2 appropriated collusion. Likely Todd the Turd or the Klown next week.

Never understood the complaints about refs , they don't give the penalties away we do .No ball control and soft forwards .A bit like all the dole bludgers whining all the time , plenty of work if the want it .Take responsibility for you own actions , sport and life

That's well understood and acknowledged by most. It's the deluge of arbitrary penalties and 6 agains that refs ALWAYS find against Easts, but hardly ever against the team they're playing.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Tackle. Tackle. Tackle. We win. Simple.

                  Let's go the mighty R W & B.

We've been on the wrong side of the penalty count for years, but if we can't get past them with a few 4th tackle 6 again calls we won't beat either the dogs or Melbourne. Cutting out the dumb penalties and errors are much more important than who has the whistle.

Fox Commentators: Dolphins really getting on top here. They have all the momentum. I just don’t know how the Roosters can keep them out.
Teddy: WTF!! Our whole team is completely farked.

End of Match summary: Dolphins we’re too good for the Roosters. They took their opportunities when they were presented to them.

Nah, the penalty count theory is real.

There's enough upsets throughout the season, for example last week raiders and dogs losing to lower ranked teams to not under estimate any team can beat an opponent on the day. And extra 6 again calls can absolutely influence the momentum , the position on the field and the chance of a team. We are not the gun team of 2013 or 2018 that can overcome extra disadvantage of the way a game is refereed.

If Egan can get that 60th minute unforced error out of his game he is actually a decent player
Unfortunately he has been in 1st grade a while now and is destined to forever have flipper hands

Losalu has played 133 minutes with 340 all run meters - Average 2.55 meters per minute..... Errors 0

E Butcher has played 466 minutes with 744 all run meters - Average 1.66 metres per minute....... Errors 6.

I know who I'd be selecting if we were playing a Grand Final this weekend.

Losalu is only 22. He should be getting maximum game time in this rebuild/developing season imo.
