The footy’s hit a tough spot. I’m not enjoying it much right now or getting excited about the games. The past month has been nothing but disappointment and there’s just no sign of improvement. It’s so frustrating.

With five Origin players plus Teddy and Toops, both origin standard, as well as Whyte, we should be locked into the top 4 and not just clinging to hope.

A month ago we looked promising. But now we’ve regressed badly. It’ll take more than just tonight to fix it, but it has to start tonight. We need momentum heading into next year, because let’s be honest, we’re not playing finals footy in 2025. Nor do we deserve to.

Still, they’ve got my support. Rain, mud, frustration, I’ll be standing on the hill tonight at 7:30pm and cheering the boys on.

Let’s show some pride.

I’m usually over optimistic, but the last few weeks have been so disappointing. Not confident, especially if Rads is out. He is so important to us, on both sides of the ball. I’m hoping for a much improved showing in D, and a decent last 20min. That’s where we need to improve dramatically.

We might scrape through this one, but I don’t see us making our usual late run this year.

If only the Warriors held on to one more tackle last night, would’ve made tonight’s game that extra more interesting, especially that we play Dolphins next week. I was devastated watching that unfold as much as a Roosters loss!!!
