good defensive effort from the girls. as great as kernick is with ball in hand she's equally good defending. yeah, amber hall is hard to stop. aiken a bit rusty and she'll be glad to get that half under her belt.

lightning stops play. terrible luck with the weather - you'd figure they would have had full houses otherwise

Crazy to think this forward pack lost Millie Elliott for this season and yet is bigger and more powerful without her.

It's such a well balanced team....you name the attribute and they have it - power, class, speed, skill......they've got it all. Oh and that goalkicking in those conditions, absolute class from Kelleher.

they're really looking the goods. at times in the early days of strangey's tenure they weren't ready to grind out wins but now they're totally into the grind and translate that into points.
thought the second half was very good. the switch of kelleher to dh when davis went off worked well, will work even better if and when fressard comes back. wood's a very handy player but i'd have naividi ahead of her - she's having a great year and how about that tackle?

The one worry I have is playing the faster more athletic Broncos on a hot afternoon Grand Final day, our bigger team could tire badly like they did in the first match against the Broncos this year.
