The writing's been on the wall but Robbo's happy with the mentoring he's given our young halves (who to he fair have come through quite strongly this season) and I suspect he's had a decent impact on our NSW Cup squad.

Disappointing to see him play so poorly this season but good on him for having a crack (cost us very little to buy all that experience) and I wish him all the best in whatever comes next!

Good riddance to the bludger. Often tore up Easts when he played against them, but did more damage when he played for them.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

why now? why not a year ago?

but no, only joking. he hasn't played his best footy with us but we didn't buy him to be in our best 13. good luck to him. not everyone gets to have a long nrl career, let alone win a premiership.
the fact that he's returned to two clubs in his career suggests he's a good club man

He was never meant to play NRL for us but unfortunately Sammy got his ACL.

Probably played 5 too many games for us. Let's hope never to make it 6 ffs.

But he achieved something most NRL players will never achieve even though it has an asterisk next to it.

Good luck to him and his future endeavours.

At least he helped win the riff game in round 2.

Chad deserves a 21 gun salute following the Souffs game.

Respect to the bloke for a long career. He was well past it when he got dropped by the Cowboys early last season. Was never a star but a solid hand at his best with good fundamentals. They had all gone before he’d even signed for us. Still a baffling signing.

Should never be seen anywhere near a Chooks jersey again and it’s one we want to forget about. Best of luck to him though, he’ll be fine as he has a good head on his shoulders with his podcasting and analysis.

Impossible for someone on $300k for one season to own that title, even if he never played a game.

The guy who is 4 years older, and on 3 times as much or more, for one season, is a different story though.

260+ game player who at his peak was a rock solid halfback, and was the halfback for the Sharks in their first prem in their history, which is quite a feat really. Seems like a great guy, and has pretty good analysis on is YouTube channel. Probably will be immortalised in our colours on Fox League replays of the round 2 Penrith game for years to come.
                            EASTS TO WIN!
