I just did a ladder predictor for fun and based on my opinions the top 4 will be:
1. Storm
2. Faders
3. Wahs
4. Panthers

Easts sit around 6th or 7th. My thoughts are that this could be a blessing in disguise as:

- We'll miss the top-4 cauldron when honestly unless you're 1st or 2nd (and confidently so) then you gain no advantage as the competition is stronger than 5-8, all of which we could blow away if we find form.

- My predictor suggested a Roosters v Storm GF with us playing (if I remember rightly) the Dolphins, Wahs and Faders... which IMO we can beat.

- Storm, Faders and Panthers all beat themselves up in round 1. One of them then plays the Bulldogs in week 2 for another slug-fest (and knocks them out)

- Given the lack of clear contenders this season, I reckon it's ripe for a 5-8 ranked team to take the bikkies.

I think Warriors are gone. Broncos and Panthers could make top 4. Bulldogs might miss. Tigers loss really hurt us. We need some really big wins or we may miss 8 just on for/against.

Yep, with a quick little whisper in the ear from Braith before he kicks it.

Townsend will nail a field goal to level it and then in extra time Billy Smith will do a 90m try (intercepting a hero cutout pass from Grant to Pappy) to secure the win. Pappy's hairdresser will apologise for the loss, noting that two hairs were out of place, obscuring his peripheral vision.

Agree that any team who finishes outside the top 4 could win it this year. This is the first year that I can remember that there hasn’t been at least 1 or 2 dominant teams.
The premiership is up for grabs to any team that clicks and is injury free at the right time.
