put me down for zdc ahead of sandon on the bench. nothing v sandon but with connor in the team we've already got back up in the halves and zdc is a better defender than sandon. played real well last week.

I like ZDC a lot but I’m surprised Sandon is out of the side all together. Think he offers more spark at 14 than ZDC. I guess he’s an out and out half though, and it’s good we have horses for courses with ZDC in the relieving middle forward role.

Think it shows the writing on the wall for Sandon though at the club. Interesting if/when DCE signs if that means Savala isn’t given the 14 either. From memory we haven’t resigned ZDC which is a surprise he’s been solid for us and wouldn’t be on much.

I’m a fan of ZDC. Never lets us down. A good team man at little cost. He’s great value.

I completely agree. Not to bring up old wounds but to me, ZDCs role and games for us has made the Brandon Smith experiment all the more painful and frustrating.

He is a very similar player to Smith and has probably given more balance to our side and been more consistent when called up than Cheese ever was for us. And he’s probably on about 5x less $$ aswell. lol.

To me it looked like Sandon was just going through the motions against the Tigers. He could be on his way out so the desire to win at all cost is not quite there.

ZDC is probably on peanuts in comparison to what Sandon wants next season and beyond so Zach will most likely be in next years 30 man squad.

Great depth player that covers multiple positions.

waiting to see if all origin players play. spencer seemed to be worrying about his wrist or hand for a while but otherwise they seemed to get through okay. with a run of matches with six day turnarounds maybe a break could be good but hopefully they're all fit and firing to go

I’m going to Kograh to watch this game so I hope our nearly full strength team puts the cleaners through the Merge.

When I went to Wentworth Park a few weeks ago to watch the Roosters NSW Cup team he played & his family were at the game, he's got the cutest little daughter who was wearing her Roosters footy jumper with Zac Docker Clay on the back, so beautiful.

He's a determined and resilient hombre.

Never cracked first grade at Parra or Riff. Unwanted by the Wahs he's been a handy depth player over the few years he's been with us.

Unsure if Zach will crack a contract for 2026.
