  • what are your positives of the season so far?

after the trials and round 1 we weren't looking good but heading into the business end of the comp we're surprisingly well placed. what are the positives you take from the season?

    for me:
    1) naufahu whyte. he's really stepped up. his influence on the team's performance reminds me of jwh in 2021
    2) foketi. the sky's the limit with this bloke. barely old enough to vote and who knows what he'll become
    3) hugo. kind of came from nowhere. looks a real prospect
    4) the team's spirit. the guys look like they're enjoying their footy

The team is just gelling so well. Young and old. They all look like they are loving playing together,
I didn't expect us to make the Top 8 but now I think we have a good chance at taking the whole thing out.
All the young rookies of this year and last year have exceeded all expectations. We have more rookies in contention for Rookie Of The Year than any other team I can remember. I was just looking forward to see what skills they might show every now and then. Amazing talent all of them and imagine how good they will be next year and after that.
My highlight amongst many is Marky. I said when he signed he was a Group 1 thoroughbred and he hasn't disappointed.
Now I am looking forward to seeing where Sammy can take us. Our 1 to 5 is the best in the comp and we've seen some incredible tries from all over the field this year. Sammy should take us to another level.
Let's just hope our injury curse is over.

    Get excited.

Billy Smith back on the park. An elite left centre is a highly valuable position for any side.

I am enjoying this season so much more than o expected to.

The highlight for me is seeing the incredibly quick development of the young guys. Imagine how good they will be in 2-3 years

We have been lucky to get rid of the dead wood Young and Smith.

Biggest positive this year, is the position it has put us in for the next few years.

The development of the young players and the spirit the team has show.

I thought we'd struggle this year but that the promising talent would kick on next year and the year after with a year of experience but boy have these young kids accelerated their progress this year it's just so much fun seeing guys come in to the team and put in good performances and not just play well but play without fear.

The spirit of the team has been great too they were losing early in the year and copped 50 in round 1 but not once did the spirit of the team wane and they have crawled back in to the top 8 and are in a position to make a run to the finals. Other teams have clearly checked out and aren't playing for their but not our boys they have been busting every game for the coach which is why I find the criticism of Trent Robinson here to be misguided he's doing a great job and still inspires young players.

I'm missing the Hutchinator so it's difficult to enjoy this season.

I thought Chad would fill the void but unfortunately no one compares.

                  Agree with all four points.

Hugo was about to leave for the Gold Coast and something happened and he ended up staying. What a blessing.

The young personnel who have grown up in the 6 again era and the uncertainty they bring to other teams and their coaches.
Special mention to the Scots boys Billy and Hugo.
Connor Watson I consider our best signing since covid. The guy is all class on and off the field and a complete RWB team man.

                        Rabbit proof fencing.

They can stay put at the other tax funded venue. Glory, glory!

Hell yeah. That is definitely one of the highlights.

The other is just our freedom in attack, and looking for and executing so many offloads. Despite a newly formed squad. Impressive.

Rob Toia — I honestly wasn’t expecting someone making their first-grade debut in Joey Manu’s spot to hit the ground running like this. I’d heard good things and was hoping he’d earn a regular spot this year, but here we are — just 10 or so games in, and he’s on the biggest rep stage, marking Latrell, who’s been in red-hot form all season. You’d expect a mismatch, but Toia’s more than held his own. He’s been outstanding.
