I think his bro may come back and haunt us in a few years.

Sad seeing him in those colours.
Or his bro may just end up being another Mickey Paea. Gees that family got a lot of pay days out of us on the back of Mickey's potential.

Is just sounds so weird to talk about being "happy" at a club. Aren't players at all clubs "happy"?
Yeh so strange that a club near the top of the table is buzzing...

Of course they are, they are a top 4 side with a real chance to make the GF because they have 1 of the best 3 coaches in the business who has total control.

Judging by Perrett's interview, he sort of hints that things aren't too rosy at the Roosters? Or maybe i'm reading too much into it.

Seeing him in those colors is sickening

I wish Sammy all the best in his future ...... but not his club.
You don't blame him for wanting to be coached by a "real coach". Will be interesting to see how he goes over there.

I didnt find it hard to watch at all. He was past his used by date here so we shed the unwanted skin.
                  Pretty simple really.
Also, I don't think there has ever been a player that has left the Roosters, and gone on the play for another club, that I have 'wished all the best' as I couldn't give two flying farks about what anoyone does that is NOT wearing the red, white and blue. As far as I am concerned he is no longer a Rooster so I couldnt care less about what he does on the field with another team.

Thanks for everything Sammy - you were a great team player, one of the few that put in 100% every week. All the best for the future, other then when you play East's.

PS. Apart from a few dropkicks, I sure everyone thinks likewise.

sam indicated he d prefer to play under hassler at coach, ie not under smith? as an adult smith would be wearing as he treats the players like school kids? always has!it did irk me seeing him in dogs colours though!

How did Smiff treat the players in 2010 mate??? What's changed besides our form???

I don't think I've seen a player whose moved clubs who doesn't at some stage comment on how much better they like the new joint, how they train harder, how they are a great bunch of blokes, how the new coach is the best they've worked for etc.

I've seen it quoted from a lot of blokes who have moved here ironically.

a lots changed since 010, we threw away the best attacking 5/8 so our club captain would stop sooking about playing 5/8, mini has got older as had Sammy, skid more injury prone, Kennedy beaten a massive injury so far? Mose gone off the boil, fpn odds and evens week player, Jake stands up to pass from dummy half?
so you can see a lot has changed since 2010!
a lot will change before 13 as well!

Maybe I wasn't clear enough mate. What I was asking is what's changed with how Smiffs treating the players now compared to 2010???

I agree that we have lost a lot of talent since 2010 due to various reasons. That IMO shouldn't change how the players react to the coaches methods.
