How the bunker missed this in 4K slow-mo replays is baffling whilst play was paused for over a minute is baffling.

And yes - we received the equal fewest number of penalties/set restarts again this weekend. Still ranked 17th for number of penalties/set restarts received.
It was deliberately and conveniently missed by all the match officials. Not sure how it would have looked to those at the game; however watching from home it was blatantly obvious. Even if Lawton was binned for 10 minutes, that might have been enough for Easts to further improve their F&A and climb another spot on the ladder. God, I'm waiting for the day that someone at our club lodges a formal complaint to the NRL about how their officials continuously (mis)handle our games!
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

The suspension should be more promotional to the amount of time Wong will be sidelined for.

      2 to 3 games is a piss-take imo.

Where is the explanation from the NRL as to why both Klown and the funker allowed the tackle to go unpunished, when numerous replays were shown during the several minutes it took to get Wong treated and off the field????

no surprise a ref doesn't pick it up but couldn't believe the video ref missed it. yes, the second tackler falls off the tackle but it's clear that he was touching suia when the 3rd cowboys bloke moved in

              Love a good word befuddle.

On Channel 9s coverage yesterday a young kid interviewed Lindsay and asked him about Robbo. Lindsay replied "He couldnt have been more detrimental for me...". Think Linds was looking for 'instrumental'.

Anyone else remember when Mose Masoe got penalised at Shark Park for "tackling too hard" anbd we can't even get a blatant cannonball penalised

                    Total BS
we loose a player for 6 weeks
the player tacking cops 2-3 weeks from match judiciary
                    and we don’t even get a penalty…

That is funny. I can picture Robbo giving that one a replay during the video sessions.

iPhones are awesome but at my age and with no reading glasses on and after numerous beers predictive txt can be dangerous.

I was pleased we put a cricket score on them - especially as there is no underestimating the power of Klein to engineer a result - even I couldn't believe how blatant the SOO 2 performance was - and no serious questions are being asked of his corrupt performance.

But we still lost the penalty/6 again count, as usual, which smells really bad as we totally thrashed cows - how does our discipline get judged worse than theirs? It's ridiculous.

I'm disappointed Robbo deflected the question about Wong being seriously injured by a cowardly attack by the cows player. "Not for me to judge". We have never received a microgram of kudos or respect by the NRL or media for playing nice, as is Robbo's style 95 % of the time. He should have commented the bunker had ample time to view the incident and sin bin or send off the offender, but instead they deliberately decided to ignore it, and now one of our best forwards will miss most of the rest of the season while the low life cheap shot merchant gets off with 2 weeks out. And while at it, if I was him, I would have rattled the cage by comparing the 2 weeks for a deliberately inflicted serious injury to the 8 weeks Spencer was forced to sit out for verbally offending a proven criminal, drug abuser who didn't even apologise to the victims of his reckless, deliberately illegal and life threatening conduct.

Joey Johns had a good take on this incident and probably was the main reason the NRL decided to act after the backlash it would’ve gotten.

He said that pre meditated tackles like this are the real issue in the game not the stray arms across the chops that we see players get sent off for nowadays. It’s true, a player usually has time to think and adjust technique on incidents like this yet we see premeditated cannonballs and hip drops all the time. These are the tackles that lead to injuries aswell. We’ve copped 3 now this season, how incompetent can the NRL and the bunker be to miss it?

A Freudian slip maybe? Robbo should tell him to wear a Maroon jersey under his Roosters one.
