One of those great Rooster days. Time to celebrate and enjoy that one. A brilliant victory on a day when the club honoured our rural fire services.

Some great footy and tries....Teddy's try with the quick short pass interchange the highlight.

So many stars.....Teddy, Nawaqa, Billy, Rob, Sandon, Hugo, Foketi, Whyte, Benny. What a player in the making is young Ioelu.

One to savour...now in 7th spot. Who would have thought..

And the possibility of climbing to 5th after next round if results go our way, which is quite possible.

This team is better than the Cowgirls. We should by rights win comfortably.Them having Robson and Cotter out is a big plus.

In his post game press conference Robbo confirmed it was an MCL for Wong but that they had no idea what the issue was for Sandon Smith and he would be going for scans to try and identify what the issue is.

Running the ball is the key for him, I know he knocked on with his first carry of the game but it's always a good sign when he starts the game with a few runs instead of trying to push the pull out wide.

I like Sandon at 6 I'm not sure he's suited to playing halfback and controlling the game. it's very disappointing that Walker has been injured this year because that looked like a very fun partnership last year and their strengths compliment each other very well.

The game is certainly building with the smaller quicker and agile forwards
was great to see Foketi and steep jamming in D and running and offloading keeping the ball alive
everyone played well
the back 5 made good mtrs and finished off tries

It seems like there is always a 20-30 minutes were we cough up plenty of ball, give away a penalty then a restart late in the tackle count. Has to be a concentration issue because something then clicks and we can catch again. Anyhow it has to be addressed because it will kill us against the top sides

Really pleased for the Chooks.
The season could be anything for the Chooks.
To lose 6 top shelf players plus have Sammy Walker out for half the season so far & basically the whole season without Brendon Smith & now Dom Young its remarkable this team that Robbo has put together.

The pathways has been so much more successful then all of us thought.
Rookies Salava, Toia, Foketi & Ioelu have been outstanding plus Steep, 5 excellent Roosters juniors that the Chooks have developed who were identified at a young age through our academy & pathways.
Then blokes like Sandon Smith, Billy Smith, Naufahu Whyte & Wong all fairly new to first grade who have all been developed by the Chooks are excellent players.
Then we have Mark Nawaqanitawasa who has exceeded everyone expectations in his involvement in games
Then you add the rep guys Teddy, Toups, Crighton, Watson, Collins, Leniu & Rads & its a bloody good team.
Plus we also have both Butcher brothers Losalu & Makatoa who all of them have played some good footy this year.

Like I said this season could be anything for the Chooks.
