How anyone watches Edwards play and thinks he's an origin standard fullback ahead of Tedesco, Turbo or Papenhuyzen is beyond me.

He dropped 2 bombs last game and made 2 basic errors again this game, is just about the easiest player tackled on the field and doesn't offer much in attack.

Edward’s is there simply because his team won the last four premierships, not because he’s a great fullback. His stats in those years looked good because he was in a very dominant team. Teddy’s stats are phenomenal whether the Roosters are going great or are struggling; he is just so consistent and is twice the player that Edward’s will ever be. Ditto Pappy and Turbo, although both are susceptible to injury.

My sense is there’s a few too many Penrith & ex- Penrith players in this team.

Pretty scrappy game really. Too much one out running by NSW, and they did not seem to be well organised in attack. I expect a much improved performance in the decider.

if Teddy made those errors they would be calling for his head
