Where is Tyreece Tait? he is the heir apparent, but has barely been seen in NSW Cup or even Flegg this year

I have watched Tait for a couple of years now. I don’t think he’s ready for first grade. He’s a long way off in my opinion.

As a former Australian and QLD rep and only being 23 years old you'd think that at some point he'll turn things around and potentially become one of the best wingers in the game again, would love to see him do that here especially since he can cover every part of the bacline.

I've read he wanted 900k at the start of this year, 650k a year is too expensive also, I'd roll the dice at 500k or less but not a dollar more.
It's an interesting one. The right coach and environment could help him fire again! Not all players respond favourably to the intensity Madge brings to a team.

I like Cobbo's natural attacking instinct. Not all players have this. He needs to work out how to harness this aspect of his game.

He seems like another Fatrell with lots of potential but too much dramas and baggage, so it would be a pass from me.

Started the season in NSW Cup, then was demoted to Jersey Flegg.

I don't like being too critical of young players trying to make their way but after a really impressive end to SG Ball and then entrance into NSW Cup last year he's been disappointing this year.

Ironically he's very similar to Young in that he's got elite speed and he's a beautiful mover but falls short in some other areas of the game. Hoping we persist with Tait as I think as he starts to fill out he'll find the higher grades a lot easier. I'm not sure what Trey Peni's contract situation was with the Glebe Dirty Reds who are our aligned club in the Ron Massey cup but he has been doing a good job in the NSW Cup taking over from Tait and I believe he's either signed with the Roosters or had a contract already and has been upgraded.

Could be bull but I heard a couple of poddies sharing a vibe that Young's very shy and doesn't communicate well. Be interesting if it's more about him not communicating what he's thinking in defence rather than simply being outta position.

For example if he tells Teddy 'I'm jamming in on this carnt' then Teddy can say 'no don't, stay on his outside!!!' If he just does it and the try's scored then there's not much Teddy et al can do about it.

I really liked what i saw form Trey Peni against the Knights - he has bounced around a few NSW Cup teams like Junior Pauga before him
Captained the Tigers in the lower grades as well, also best mates with Jahreme Bula

Agree I’ve only seen two cup games with him in our side this year but has impressed. I hope Pauga comes good sooner rather than later imo he never lets us down when he gets selected.

For what it's worth , dom i think looks better in a Newcastle jersey. Not playing wise , not appearance wise , he looked a little more relaxed.

Much like terrell , posibly brandon , i suspect there were issues around attitude with these 3 . Bar round 1 the roosters have been full of commitment and I think maybe these 3 didn't fit that " I'll do anything " mould .

I back the club 100 % with these decisions and have no ill will towards the 3 young men .

Suddenly he could catch a ball in critical moments of the game!!
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Dom Young is definitely a Knight.

He looked like a Pig in mud in yesterdays game.

Dom is a good player. He doesn’t fit under the ‘power game’ style we want to play, which to be fair should’ve been obvious when we wanted to recruit him - perhaps we thought he could adapt to that due to his size and athleticism but it doesn’t appear to come natural to him, at least atm.

Im happy to see him do well elsewhere.
