  • Nice to get away with the win in the end. The defence was awesome but we need to stop dropping the ball and making it so hard for ourselves. We’ve lost games this year when we were the better team and should have won so it’s nice to get one back tonight.

    • We're also in the top 8 for the first time this year and unless Souths beat Canterbury by about 50 points we will finish the round in 8th. It's taken a while to get here but the season looked to be hanging by a thread at the end of round 5 being 1-4 for the season, losing 3 on the trot, conceding 50 in round 1 and heading up to Brisbane to face the Broncos it's been a great turnaround we are 5-3 since the Souths loss.

How about the pisstake of holding on ZDC for almost 10 seconds at the end of the first half not allowing him to play the ball and not giving a penalty away either terrible stuff Sutton is a germ.

Didn’t realise he clocked in that number… checked and Fox has him at 36, which is still a lot. Watching real time i thought he had 2 poor misses that resulted in breaking our line, but either way I guess when you’re up around those numbers, that’s gonna happen.

            Yeah I've noticed that, it's a worry.

If that’s a penalty try - I’ll walk to your local, on my hands, and buy you a green tea.

They are one of the worst attacking sides we have seen so far this decade.

I think just about every other club in the comp beats us tonight bar maybe the Titans & Knights.

                • Is Foketi in trouble?

On report but I didn't see anything and they didn't show a replay.

He already has a suspension so hopefully nothing.

A Green tea shout has got to be one of the most rogue propositions I've ever heard. lol

                    • Sutton was really trying hard to finesses knights over the line - how disappointed he must have been?

And what about old smelly minge on the sideline not pulling up that forward pass from Gagai to Schiller? Right in front of her. So Blatant. And Little Jerry missing the dropped ball over the line - saved for once by the bunker - thankfully Gee, Klein would have let it go.

                      • Warren Ryan would describe that as an ugly win. Great defensive effort. Dreadful ball security.

                            • A very rare occurrence nowadays but all 3 Senior Grades won today at the same venue -McDonalds Jones Stadium - Newcastle - usually Senior Reps ( Jersey Flegg/NSW Cup) are played at Suburban Grounds or secondary Fields.
                              • Jersey Flegg won 30-28 after being down 16-0 at half time - Knights scored a converted try on full time
                              • NSW Cup won 28-8 - up 10-6 at half time
                              • NRL won 12-8 - down 6-0 at half time
