That’s right, Jackaaaw Hastings is back for Newie — and somehow he’s pushing 30 like a bloke still borrowing his old man’s ute. Ready for a masterclass? Maybe… if it’s on how to run sideways and grow a beard to scare off puberty.
PS: What do Hastings and Walker have in common? They’re both kids playin’ grown-up footy, rockin’ the kinda beards that scream “please take me seriously, I swear I’ve done my RSA.”

Prior to that game Marky dropped one from 16 attempts and may have dropped one or two in the next couple of games. A bit of a long bow that he can't catch bombs.
Marky is one of the few wings in the game that can actually turn try scoring opportunities out of nothing with his stepping, incredible passing skills and kicks and has had plenty of success at that. A rare talent that we are blessed to have. An incredible find. Hopefully he re-signs for another 5 years.
Dom on the other hand can run fast. Meh
Marky is also on the Roosters Podcast this week for anyone interested.

Link didn't work but I presume it's Pearce and Carney's poddie as they were talking about having a Walker show ready for the fans.
Fair play to ’em — they’ve finally loosened up and stopped sounding like blokes reading footy stats off a bloody teleprompter. First few eps were stiffer than a schooner in the snow, but they’ve hit their stride now.
And credit where it’s due — they’re not floggin’ off multis disguised as “banter with the boys.” Too many other poddies these days are just betting ads with a laugh track, like TAB sponsored a yarn at the pub. At least Pearce and Carney seem to get that maybe pumping gambling to punters while talkin’ trauma isn’t the most ethical side hustle. They’re not saints, but at least they’re not Sunday school teachers tryin’ to sell ya a sportsbet login between confessions.Last edited by ism22; 06-11-2025, 06:46 PM.

Sandon is a very effective utility whereas Hugo doesn’t seem as flexible or effective moving positions. Sandon at 14 would hurt the kids ego but it’s objectively the best and most selfless thing to do for the team - this week. Possibly this season too, because we are a better team with both Watson and Sandon in rotation.
2025 is a completely different story. Robson changes everything.

If I were coach I'd be like mate you're on our books and they made you look stupid/childish when you were dropped for an Origin centre and a Wallabies winger (when that's totally not what you're about!!!) Whatcha gonna do about it? Here's your chance to show 'em who's boss!!!
Where did you get that info from?

Surely he doesn't play!
