Like I’ve always said everyone is entitled to their opinion and you are certainly entitled to have those views but I really hope he has a blinder to put you back in the corner. Marky does a lot during the game and creates so many highlights and chances - he is a freak of an athlete and allready provided so many big highlights - yes his errors have hurt us but hopefully he improves soon - even robbo mentioned he wants to see improvement / if he fixes these he is class

Egan butcher has just been a lightweight dud forward who somehow keeps getting picked despite offering no size or go forward, no passing game like other smaller forward aka cam Murray, poor defence and shit hands

As muck as I’d like to see Losalu come in for ZDC on the bench I don’t think it will happen. Robbo hasn’t played funny buggers with the team list 1-17 from Tuesday to game day for ages unless of course forced by injury.

I sort of agree now the more you look at it why would he name both and just not add another forward
with most of our forward pack able to play big min / even the middles could play 60 min if they needed too and backrow hardly changing maybe ZDC gives Benny a rest and sandon will come on for walker in 2md half?
I personally would just have sandon there to cover both for the week if that’s the case though and have an extra middle! Give Benny a break mid game with Sandon at 9 then give Walker a rest at the end

It's a strong side the only 2 issues I have are the ones that have others have brought up

- Dom Young playing could be a massive conflict of interest plus it is kind of pointless to have him play, I don't follow NSW Cup but Tom Rodwell is 23 and has 14 tries from 14 games in NSW Cup, surely giving him a taste of first grade in case we need depth later this year/next year would only be a positive especially against such a weak Knights side.

- I don't like the 2 utilities on the bench, I think the reasoning is that we need someone to relieve Ioelu but we also need someone there to relieve Sam Walker in case he struggles. Without Sandon and ZDC in the team we have no halves or hooker cover unfortunately.

Aside from that I'll say Egan Butcher scares me, he's got a bit of SKD about him where he can play quite well one game and then the next he's quite poor, I think he's the weakest player in our starting 13 but I also understand why he's there.




Hugo and Sandon have played okay against much lesser sides but this is 100% the ideal game to bring Sam Walker back in, it's a very weak Knights side where even if Sam is average you'd expect our key attacking players to do enough to get us the win, if Sandon remains on the bench I'd say Walker will probably only play 50-60 anyway especially if we're leading by quite a bit near the end of the game.

I don't think Dom's leaving though? I see it as a test of loyalty if anything. Noting the Knights just sacked their coach so I wouldn't believe anything coming outta their recruitment team anyway.

If I were coach I'd be like mate you're on our books and they made you look stupid/childish when you were dropped for an Origin centre and a Wallabies winger (when that's totally not what you're about!!!) Whatcha gonna do about it? Here's your chance to show 'em who's boss!!!

His handling errors are awful and I'm not sure many here would disagree with you on that but he's also such a classy attacking player with so much x-factor that you have to play him, he's only played a handful of games on the wing so hopefully within a month or so he improves and becomes better with the errors.

I actually liked Dom as well but we became so much more dangerous with Mark N on that right wing.

A lot made by one on the dropped bombs against the Dogs on a windy, wet night trying to catch Burton bombs where the ball was coming down with snow on it.

Prior to that game Marky dropped one from 16 attempts and may have dropped one or two in the next couple of games. A bit of a long bow that he can't catch bombs.

Marky is one of the few wings in the game that can actually turn try scoring opportunities out of nothing with his stepping, incredible passing skills and kicks and has had plenty of success at that. A rare talent that we are blessed to have. An incredible find. Hopefully he re-signs for another 5 years.

Dom on the other hand can run fast. Meh
