I wonder what's the go for Ethan Roberts?
Also touted to debut in 2025.

if not for origin we would have our best 17 available for the first time since 2019 grand final

walker back is massive - expect he may take a few weeks to push on - also Whyte is massive along with Nat

happy robbo kept Savala starting and sandon on bench - Sandon is not a starting half

also Surely sandon or ZDC goes for lasalu or another front rower

if we get out of origin and this week we actually have a full complement of players and could pick our best 17 for the first time in 6 years
Barring injury who misses out next week?

Young, EButch, two of Benny/Sandon/ZDC and who? Foketi or Steep or someone else. Great problem nobody thought we would have 3 months ago.
Unless Robbo rest one or two origin players.

for me the team picks itself except for 17 which is a choice between the steely steep and the precociously talented foketi

          Agreed.

The young guns should be getting maximum game time during our rebuild season.

Great to see little Sammy W back. I’ll be heading to the game on Saturday to give it to all of the Knights fans and cheer home the boys.

Sally would be upset seeing Sandon on the bench and Sammy named. He was campaigning for a Sandon/Hugo pairing and even said Sammy could be shown the door. Hahaha seriously WTF!

Yes. Both had big games against the Sharks.
Need a bit of size on the bench, particularly when the important matches roll around, at end of season.
But you have to think where Nat B fits into the equation, if he isn’t named for this game, and then the SOO contingent return ?
Its a great problem to have with so much talent in the first 17 , plus a number of players who should be in FG , but can’t make the cut.

How good is our depth, with 5 out and Losalu still can't squeeze in.
If we make the finals we'll shock and awe.

Five to go. Knights need a try to win and are on our 20M.

Everyone will be thinking fkn Dom.

I hope Rodwell makes his debut.

The team is looking good, considering we have 5 players in SOO. I’m very surprised Don has been selected against the side he’s returning to. I too suspect there will be a change to the bench with a forward coming in to replace either Smith or ZDC. It will likely be for whichever one Robbo deems less capable of filling in at dummy half when Benny comes off for a break. Also great to see DLS listed on the extended bench. I wasn’t expecting him back this soon after his serious illness. And of course most of all, how good is it to see Sammy back!

The time has arrived for us to start winning consistently.

The coach said we would get better by the months. We are 3 1/2 months in now. Hope we have taken " our lessons ".

A big win is on the cards. Just need to tweak the bench.

Yeah, but there’s no depth in our backs.
I don’t want to see Angus in the centres again - blimey !

We look a bit on the small side, but as has been noted there could be some size swapped in before the team is finalised.

And, is Dom pissin off after this game? If so, surely we give Kingy or TomRod a go ahead of him.

Yes great issue although maybe light on in the backs
                              young
id like Benny to stay at 14 if sandon is going to maybe ZDC and Sandon in cup
                              Egan butch
tbh I’d like to keep both steep and Foketi but surprised if Nat butchered isn’t there!
I just hope robbo doesn’t have Egan there instead and drop both steep and Foketi
egan is dead wood and should not have been re signed

Not to get ahead of myself (particularly this season) but I'll be staggered if the Knights win. They've looked like probably the second worst team in the comp for some time. They've been absolutely shocking. Will want to watch out for Sharpe, though.
They looked pretty good in the 2nd half just a few days ago, so I wouldn't be so confident.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
