Well you see metres gained with kicks is usually a good indicator of who kicks long and well, as for defending you have tackles made and tackles missed, DCE has made more and missed around the same. If Hugo is better than DCE 7 games in he should go play 5/8 for NSW, remember DCE was the second best half on field in game 1 of Origin.

Continue to twist people's views all you want. It is pretty comical actually to try and prove your point.

My view is and always has been is that Hugo is more than adequate to provide the service that DCE provides at a much cheaper price and a much less risk.

Hugo is getting better every game he plays (stats and results are proving that) whereas DCE is not (stats and results are proving that too) and in many people's views including the 8th immortal thinks father time is catching up with him if not already ran past him. So next year you will probably get a lesser decline in his game that he has shown this year. Even you have said he is not playing at his best this year. Stats will not prove whether one who kicks for 20.5M more in one game or made 3 tackles less in another has played a better game or would improve a team.

It will be interesting to see if Robbo chooses Hugo to partner Sammy where that combo can take us at the back end of the year. If he chooses Sandon over Hugo then it will be the first time in my life that I will call Robbo an idiot but he is the coach and I will say it under my breath.
