Nafe has excellent acceleration off the mark. He's a terrier in defence and always looks keen when he's on the field. He should complement Friend well as he passes from the ground and is super quick from dummy half, exactly what Friend lacks. Panthers scored a few tries last year off the back of his scoots and quick play the balls. One thing that will be sure to piss everyone off about him is his habit of raising both hands everytime he stands at dummy half waiting for the play the ball. It doesn't matter how quick the defender gets off he does it every time and once you notice it it'll get on your nerves, as you're no chance of getting a penalty if your dummy half is asking for one every play the ball.

He's so awesome he can't even nail down a first grade spot for the wooden spooners....

I'm just commenting on how he has gone to date in first grade. In the games where he has been given decent minutes he has made a significant impact. Most of his games he hasn't been given more than 20 mins though. For what we're after i think he fits the bill nicely. Remember that Anthony Mitchell was playing reserve grade for Parra last year when we signed him and i think he was very effective in his time on the field in first grade for us.

Like i'v said previously he is easily better then Mitchell, looking forward to seeing him play behind your forward pack if you can get a roll on and quick play the balls. He is dynamite out of dummy half. Issac Luke clone is a perfect example.

Kingston isn't a wooden spoon standard dummy half. He's one of the best going around imo.

At only 75kgs I suspect goal-line defence is not a strong point.

Alfie was 88kg. Nafe even lighter than Sandow.

Also, unlike Alfie and Sandow, Nafe is a hooker who is expected to make many more tackles on opposition forwards.

Have you seen some of our 100kgs forwards on our line? I've seen better goal line defense in lingerie football.
