Bloody hell another frustrating loss, opposition perfect with the ball in hand dear oh dear.

Far too inconsistent great one week terrible the next the Jekyll and Hyde Roosters.

With enough possession we win but we just kept handing over the ball to them and gave them the win.

Really, really frustrating performance to be honest. It’s weird because I want to see we were the better team in many areas. I think our defense was better — they never looked like breaching us. Our attack looked good whenever we held the ball, energy looked good etc. But they’ve managed the game infinitely better. Disgusting mess of errors that were totally unforced, and were first or second tackle.

The second we got to $1.50 favourites, I knew it was big trouble. I feel like recently we’ve found a good mix of taking our chances and completing sets. Not today. No respect for the opposition, and even though we looked physically good and maybe even superior, we didn’t want to stick to it and tried to score too quickly.

Side note, but Egan has been great since coming back, and I’m certainly not going to blame him for this one. We made a million errors.

Sandon looked good, but has a big problem after we’ve made a break. Seems always in multiple minds and consistently gets that decision wrong.

I’m more meaning the kind of errors that change the momentum, the coach killers.

marky mark defs needs to be better under the bomb but that’s catching a bomb under pressure not just dropping it cold

I don’t want to keep shitting on the bloke but Sandon offers nothing in attack. His last play options are terrible, he looks so lost and only gets in other players way.

I get we’ve got lots of young blokes, I don’t really understand why all our senior players are just as bad at dropping it?

It’s the same crappy players making the same crappy plays week in and week out. Same reason why we lost to the Bulldogs
About time we drop Mark N, Egan Butcher, Connor Watson, Lindsay Collins, Billy Smith and Wong.
It was no accident we played so much better without Watson and Collins clogging the middle of the field

Raiders two successive grafting wins, go close to snagging the goodies this year. Roosters well found a way to lose. Swannies done by 90 points, at least the Broncos and Bunnies lost.

Typical game between these teams. The clincher was their error free game, compared to our too many. Makes it so hard to win, and we damn near pulled it off. That was our toughest opponent this year.

Really disappointed for our guys, so many of our boys worked their guts out. What might have been if we could hold the ball, or force an error.

Teddy was incredible. Robert Toia could be one of the best centres we've seen moving forward. Sign him long term.
