From memory they've got the wood on us over the past few years.

A victory followed by a bye would position us nicely for the run home.

We smashed them in Canberra last year on a sunny Saturday arvo and we would have most likely won at Allianz if not for losing our half and hooker.

Questions...

- Has Benno jumped Cassius in the pecking order or is there an injury there?

- Dom's the replacement. I would suggest this means he's not on the outer as Robbo's choosing to take him to the game rather than a forward/utility. Sure you never get to use your replacement but to me it's still a deliberate call.

Benno was on the bench ahead of ZDC in round 1 before he got injured. It’s a shame for Zac cause I think he’s done a good job for us this season. Happy to see Benno though.

Yeah agree both ways - ZDC has been really solid but whilst unhappy for him I’m happy to see the youngster again get a chance bar his poor pick up / pass last week he was excellent.

This is a tough one. If we play like we have in recent weeks, we’ll go alright. I just hope there is no element of the young guys buying into their recent media at all, with how good they’ve been going.

Have to contain their pack and take our opportunities. Not much else to it.

I think we are past the stage where just being competitive is a good result. With what we have achieved so far this season and with the squad we have, Canberra should be worried and us fans should be confident of a win.

Despite us beating the likes of Panthers and Broncos this year, this game shapes as our biggest test. We went into those games as underdogs and played with nothing to lose. We are very slight faves here I think, so the boys need to bring that same energy and attitude tonight.

What a pisser it's not the 2pm game today and instead gets the under lights last game of the round. And the call 3 days out from gameday to not play Dub Cup as the curtain raiser due to the "state of the ground" is perplexing. Be interesting to see how it shapes this evening.

Raiders are physical and test the boundaries. Winning tonight will be largely dictated by how we 'snub the grub' and play our footy. Klein is connable which worries me a bit. The Hors v Spence is a conflict in waiting.

Weekes and Savage are real speed, need to keep them outa space. Raiders never give up, we need a full 80 minute shove, no 2nd half naps. Pleased for young Benny grabbing a bench spot. Will know if ZDC was dropped or wounded if he fronts at Wenty Park this arvo or not.

This game should be a belter. We (and the officials) hold our nerve, we win. Go Easts.
