The kid is hyped as much as Rodwell, i just wonder how much sitting out an entire year will do for his development
I doubt he goes straight into NSW Cup next year and probably won't be ready for NRL until 2028
Rex is only 19 so, all going to plan, he'll get a taste of NRL 2027/28.

Peter Jorgo is a good friend of Robbos who has known Max since he was a kid. He has spent time around the Roosters training before he signed on with Waratahs. If he was to change codes we would probably be the club he would look at. He is fast but not very big and has already had a few injuries. I'm not sure he would handle an NRL season at fullback or on the wing. I doubt he would go as well as Mark N

With the Lions tour and World cup coming up I doubt any Union players will be giving that up and defecting to league at least until 2028.

3 years ago the Chooks played a trial match at Leichhardt which I attended against Manly & that night Jorgo Jnr was sitting with the whole Roosters 1st grade team. None of the 1st grade team players played.
Naufe White & one of the Va'a brothers played in that trial match.
Max knows the Roosters players & I agree with you that if he was to come across to League it would be for the Roosters.
