  • Is Tedesco in trouble?

When Cronulla scored their first try, Tedesco had his hands all over the ref's back and gave him a bit of a shove.

In days of old, this was an absolute no-no and suspensions could be handed out.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

    Hello Lossy
It still is an absolute no no
    I didnt see the incident
What do you think will come of it?

The charges have come out and there was no mention of it.

I can't believe Ronaldo only got a week!

If you watch one of the fox condensed replays, you'll no doubt see it as it was part of their try scoring movement.

I think he should be safe (fingers crossed) as I've seen it happen in recent times with no consequence to the player involved. The ref was in Tedesco's way, but that excuse rarely works.

Agree that was boarder line red card - late and forceful shoulder directly too the head

lucky mark wasn’t knocked out or broken jaw

I was expecting 3-4 weeks - maybe an injury would have increased the time spent on the sideline

That sounds about right - even though the Fox commentators were suggesting 3 or 4 weeks.

Crazy Ronaldo only gets one game. It wasn't much better than Suaalii's on Walsh last year. Didn't think there was much mitigation.

HTF did Marky not need an HIA after that? I would have backed up the truck at $1.10 he was gone for 11 days.
                Steel jaw.
