We don't need DCE. Sammy and Hugo will become the best halves pairing in the comp imo!

As a pairing (on paper) they tick all the boxes. Sammy just needs to work on his game management which will naturally improve with more games. Hugo has been super impressive and will continue to improve.

Hooker - Robson is a great signing. He'll slot straight in and perform at a consistent level. Friendy Mark 2.

Forwards - Some exciting young bulls coming through who are big, strong, mobile, can ball play etc. Add to that players like Vic, Gus, Watson, Whyte, Wong, Robson and we're all good in that department.

Outside Backs. We're good for 2026 however may need a suitable replacement for sir Toops beyond 2026.

The big one for me is finding a replacement for Teddy beyond 2026 if he retires.. Some forward planning should be considered as the squad could be ripe and ready to win a comp. Our window could well be seasons 2027 to 2030.

I’m thinking we’ll give it a real shake in 2026, with or without DCE. Hell, we have it in us to be a real threat to the top teams this year if we can manage to make the 8.

Robson's service is first class and he can create space with his bullet like pass. Ioelu went great last night and Im pretty sure he is signed until 2028. ZDC will obviously be turfed. DCE is a welcome edition at the expense of Sandon....but like others not so sure if it jeopardises Savala.

Walker will lead the team, he's done his apprenticeship and he's heading into his prime years now. With the unearthing of some future stars the planets are aligning and the chooks are in the box seat to go on a run of success again.

I don’t have an issue with the Robson signing, you know exactly what you’ll get from him week in, week out, his good games, will probably be an 8/10 and his bad games will probably be no worse than a 6/10.

DCE never made sense when it was first announced, and still doesn’t make sense now.

I'm getting cold on Robson the longer this season goes on, he hasn't put in a performance for the Cowboys that would even be as good as 6/10 and Daley took the soft way of picking Madge's origin team instead of his own clean slate team because Api is the form NSW hooker by a long way. Connor Watson has been great for us at hooker but the guy is sensational he could succeed anywhere we might have gone a bit too early signing Robson without seeing how Watson turned out.

I'd hate to see that, Savala has a great running game with a massive boot, he's a big body with agility it's like a reincarnation of Fittler (obviously well short of Freddy's talent at this stage) I'd love to see him stay in the 6 particularly with the smaller Walker.

Yeah I wasn’t overly excited when we bought Robson, but I think it was a “safe” option, if he delivers good service with the right choices and defends well, the rest of the team should be able to hum along.

I haven't seen him play much TBH.

Was excited about the Cheese because he had way more profile and I thought he'd spice up our attack.

Reality? We probably shouldn't have punted Sam Verrills.
