sounds like dce is a done deal to me , I'm somewhat on the fence , at first I was for it , but savala seems to keep stepping up .

I think sandon smith may leave , I think he'd make a great utility connor has that spot sewn up , and a starting nrl half he is not .

poor sandon may end up with the tigers or titans as a starting half or one of the new franchises who will overpay .

      .
Yeah I was for him coming but now its Daley who ???
Savala is playing like a vetran he's damn good and like he's level headed under pressure.

As for Sandon if Wests got him I don't reckon thats a bad deal if he can learn from Luai. Think Wests are keen on Sexton.

Have heard only from their fans they'd take Savala on a 1 year loan...

Gus did a back flip though and the Dogs signed Lachlan Galvin as they had gone cold on re-signing Toby Sexton and Mitchell Woods isn't ready yet for NRL.

The Eels would be a good fit for DCE - DCE 7 and Moses 6. - problem Parra have is keeping their young up and coming halves - i,e Ethan Sanders signed with the Raiders at the end of 2024.

The Eels have high hopes for Lincoln Fletcher who is pretty level ability wise to Toby Rodwell and a couple of years off NRL - Both standouts in SG Ball in 2025

Despite the guy running straight into the teeth of the Sharks forwards on Saturday night, doing nothing wrong in defence on the right wing, having major involvement in the Savala try, and scoring a try of his own.
Give the guy a break - even the coach says he is first grade material.
The other fashionable item, and everyone’s love child on the chookpen - Marky Mark - better brace himself for a torrid night on Sunday, because Sticky will be instructing his last tackle bombs to go down Mark’s corridor.
                  Thats an absolute bloody certainty.
I just hope Mark has done his catching practice.

                    Did someone say Raiders?

The Raiders are a team full of scrappers and they can be extremely grubby! Their strength is resilience and fitness. They keep it simple and they're relentless.

We're the better footy team, more strike, more flair and our pack is superior.

I can't wait for this game.

                    Roosters by 12.

Is that the same coach that dumped him, and now trying to offload him despite the imminent retirement of Tupou?

                      • Now they’re suggesting Sandon to Parramatta.

Are you making this up ? At no stage has Robinson been trying to offload him.
The last comment made by the coach was that Young is first grade material, but he has 5 fg quality three quarters , but only 4 spots available in the team.
It makes your comment that Young is “worthless” sound pretty stupid imo.

                          • You might want to listen what the coach says about Dom Young, in the presser after the Sharks game.
                            It’s on the Roosters website.

                              The facts are:
                              - Young was dumped in favour of not one but two rookies with only a handful of games between them
                              - Roosters are still negotiating with the Knights to release Young before June 30
                              - There is no ready-made replacement for Tupou which means we are still short one outside back for 2027.

It is another case like Jaxson Paulo where he had ability, but aspects of his game were not up to the first-grade standard.

i totally agree. he bought a house up here on the Gold Coast when he back flipped on the titans and still has it. so there are definatly roots up here for him to retire with
