It will be interesting to see where Galvin eventually ends up too. Gus playing mind games and media distractions talking about the Roosters loving their shiny new toys is surely a tactic. But what’s his end game? Galvin, DCE? And by the way DCE is neither shiny nor new. He’s old, very old by NRL standards.

I thought DCE informed the Dolphins he wasn’t leaving Sydney weeks ago.
DCE seems more interested in seeing himself in the media, I remember around 10 years ago him and his partner in the media when he was shopping himself around looking like they loved all the attention.
Unfortunately I think a deal has been done with him signing with us and it will be announced after origin.
I know Robbo said he hasn’t spoken to DCE which is probably true but I’m sure our recruitment team and DCE management team have been speaking for months.
If a deal isn’t agreed on yet then it would only be a few minor details to sort out and that’s when DCE and Robbo will become directly involved.

Why even comment on it if he's already said he's not going to make a decision until the end of the year? He knows exactly what he's doing by dropping our name and stoking the fire again.
It's becoming a circus and I hope it doesn't become a distraction for our club.
We have a production line of young talented halves coming through. This is where our time and money should be invested!

Can’t put a price on premiership success so it’s probably a move many clubs would still gamble with.FVCK CANCER

I understand that Matt Lodge would be considered a failure by most people due to actions in 2023. My view is we had the best front row rotation in the comp heading into the 2022 finals, and only made the finals because of that fact. You can't pin the actions of JWH and Radley on Lodge. It was a lost opportunity.
DCE we will not know unless it happens. I understand there is a risk due to his age, and Savala has resolved some of the issues. I am not fussed either way now tbh, I just find all the DCE hate a little hilarious. The guy won a premiership at 22, Clive Churchill medal at 24, is current captain of queensland. Some fans behaving like the clueless opposition fans who think Teddy is useless and should retire,

Luke O'Donnell sucked for the first half of 2013 and was only here for a 1 year deal anyway why does this guy keep getting brought up? He wasn't that important to the 2013 team. DCE didn't deserve the 2013 CCM anyone who watched that game knows this, big fat carnt Bob McCarthy said they didn't give it to SBW because "he did nothing while Watmough was on the field" even though he left that big fat slug in his wake on the way to set up the SKD try.
DCE won a comp in his debut season with a stacked team that played a GF in 2007 and won it in 2008, big deal, he's done fark all since then.

i just don’t like him for some reason, never have, he comes across smug, seems to be on the nose with current and past players at club and state level, and always seems about himself.
It also gives us the chance to believe in what we are trying to preach with our academy.
if we do sign him, I got no problem supporting him, but I’d just rather he doesn’t sign with us. As others have said, I also had no problem with the SBW and Cronk signings, this one just feels off.
