Dont worry about the numbers on their back, Latrell will be left centre Crighton right centre mark my words.

Who would have thought at the end of last year once Manu and Suaalii left us we would have an arguably equal centre pairing in Toia and Billy. We all knew Billy’s potential but never did I think Toia would progress like he has. No way I thought he’d play origin this year.
I actually think they are better
safer in defence and more attacking options then what we had

        Mitchell will play left
seems numbers in league for centre and wing won’t always mean a side

Occasionally , he will smash opponents in D.
          Thats why Slater wants him.
He is a far superior defensive player to Holmes, who gets beaten frequently.
Statistically the best tackler in the centre position in the comp. which is insane for a 20 year old in first 10 games

I personally wouldn't wanna mark either of them.

BTW what's with the name Creighton/Crichton? I feel they're both importations of the same (Scottish?) name just some families chose to spell it differently.

A web search suggests that 'crichton' should be spelled 'cry-ton' and 'creighton' should be pronounced 'cray-ton'. However, that's bullshyte.

For those who struggle with the spelling... Gus and his Samoan brother are both 'Crichton'.

Slowly moving towards US sports where numbers mean nothing? Waiting for the day when Michael Buffer rocks up and is like 'llllladies and gentlemen... number 23... Dylan "Dally M" Edwards... number 69... Brian To-koooow... 66... Trell Mitt...etc'.

Pearce and Carney did their poddie where they're all for it. My only argument against it is that when viewing games at the stadium it's faaarkin annoying trying to work out who's who. If I know that #1 scored then it's the FB. Who is either Teddy (our team) or the other team's FB (who I may or may not have heard of). Guessing they're way better at reading games than me so it doesn't matter (i.e. they don't need numbers to tell them who's who and what position they are playing). However as a meagre pleb, I need numbers.

I’d argue we have a better centre pairing now than last year by some margin. Their defence runs rings around Manu and Suaalli.

Mitchell will to need to wear the number 3 jersey if he starts at left centre. Rules are rules.

Bellamy in the coaches box helping Daley is a huge plus for NSW.

You can almost guarantee he will be one of the best on ground

he handled that really well. honest and humble but not overawed.
this selection is on billy. you can't expect a guy with just 10 games to go well in this arena.
in a sense he can play without pressure. wouldn't be surprised if he causes a few problems for latrell

Rob would have gained a lot of confidence in keeping Latrell quiet in the Souths match recently. Whilst I want a NSW win, I hope he buries Latrell into the turf a couple of times early to put him off his game. Love to see him score a couple of tries through Latrell as well.

Only after the Blues are in front by 30!

The kid has it in spades.

If not for injury he is a lock for Rookie of the year, no contest. Will be some debut season.
