Who would have thought at the end of last year once Manu and Suaalii left us we would have an arguably equal centre pairing in Toia and Billy. We all knew Billy’s potential but never did I think Toia would progress like he has. No way I thought he’d play origin this year.
safer in defence and more attacking options then what we had

Could be a Laurie Daley masterstroke tactic.
seems numbers in league for centre and wing won’t always mean a side

Occasionally , he will smash opponents in D.
Thats why Slater wants him.
He is a far superior defensive player to Holmes, who gets beaten frequently.

BTW what's with the name Creighton/Crichton? I feel they're both importations of the same (Scottish?) name just some families chose to spell it differently.
A web search suggests that 'crichton' should be spelled 'cry-ton' and 'creighton' should be pronounced 'cray-ton'. However, that's bullshyte.
For those who struggle with the spelling... Gus and his Samoan brother are both 'Crichton'.

Pearce and Carney did their poddie where they're all for it. My only argument against it is that when viewing games at the stadium it's faaarkin annoying trying to work out who's who. If I know that #1 scored then it's the FB. Who is either Teddy (our team) or the other team's FB (who I may or may not have heard of). Guessing they're way better at reading games than me so it doesn't matter (i.e. they don't need numbers to tell them who's who and what position they are playing). However as a meagre pleb, I need numbers.

Bellamy in the coaches box helping Daley is a huge plus for NSW.

in a sense he can play without pressure. wouldn't be surprised if he causes a few problems for latrell
