Hugo is such a good halfback, he's only 6 or 7 games into his career but he shows such calmness & leadership of steering the team around.
When Sammy comes back I think he has to play 5/8 & just let Hugo steer the team around.
Some people say their is no difference between half & 5/8 but I believe the 2 positions have different attributes. Your 7 conducts the team (main kicker) whilst your 6 is playing a roving role that he can pull off trick plays & off the cuff stuff & thats what Walker does best.
Back to Hugo he's one of them guys that doesn't make many mistakes & things go right for him a lot, his kicks his passing & his defence are top shelf.
If its not at the Roosters then Hugo will get picked up by another club because he's too good to be not playing FG.

Could not agree more. Hugo is the guy to steer the team around. His calmness and precision after a handful of games are incredible. Walker off the cuff at 5/8 is I reckon his only option now. Hugo is that good.

Like you say so well, Hugo is one of those guys for whom "things go right a lot".

Let's wait and see if he can string two good games in a row first.
Ok, he had one good game where he doubled his try assists making a grand total of 3 for the year.

Time will tell, let's see what he does this week now that people have started talking about him. Canterbury targeted him the week before and he went missing.
Hold your horses on the sky's the limit, if he survives what Ricky's sending his way this week then he moves up a rung, but the sky is a long way off.

We are looking at 100kg halfbacks going forward. I thought former Halfback Klemmer was an oddity at 6'6" a few years back.
