I think Watson was inside that rubbish as well just shows the good sides defence moves forward no just think the ball is going out to the wings. A junior player would get a kick up the behind for being that lazy

Going into the game all I was really hoping was that we would be competitive. Sure, we all got excited after the first 40 minutes, and the second 40 was very disappointing, but in reality we showed that this team is capable of doing great things.

I said in an earlier thread that this team would be bipolar in its performances for at least the first half of the season. Too little experience in key positions. But the future does look bright as far as I can see.

marky mark had a very special SKD game tonight. But that try was something we probably won’t see again, except from him maybe.
And Egan Butcher? He was playing for the dogs. Coming out of our own half and the guy can’t catch. Why, why didn’t they get rid of him instead of May. The Butchers need to be gone. But the tries we let in were all very, very soft. Average defense would easily have stopped them. And over the line but poor ball discipline lost the try? We are just masters at finding ways to lose. On two, ocassions we just stood and watched as they ran in tries. Not acceptable.

I don't get why EButch is there over Foketi.

2nd half I thought if we score 1st we're a really chance of taking it.

Soon as Dogs scored 1 then even with a below strength side they just wait and pounce.

But if we manage to play for 80min we can beat sharks and Canberra.

So you believe bringing Spencer on with only 8;to go wasn't a mistake .Should have come on with 25:to go when we needed some mongrel .

I said before the game that we need to pressure Burton’s kicks as he is going to target MarkyM. Low and behold, NOONE put pressure on him ALL night and MM drops four of them.

Not at all, I was surprised Whyte only got 40mins, I was surprised Leniu only got 30ish minutes, I question why if Watson's going to play the full 80 we don't just leave him at dummy half and let Dockar-Clay play that roaming forward role to give Radley a rest instead.

I'm not saying you can't criticise or analyse the coaches performance but there's a level of balance and proportion that needs to be applied factoring in what he's also done extremely well so far this year to make us competitive like completely rebuilt our backline after losing Suaalii, Manu & dropping/soon to release Young. That's 2 million in talent replaced by less that a million in talent and I'd argue we've got a better balanced backline thane we did last year. It's a big factor in why we were competitive last night, as is the fact that we're competitive against every team now with Sandon/Savala as a halves pairing and Watson as our full time dummy half. Tell me another coach who's working with such an inexperienced spine and delivering the same level of performance right now in the comp? I can't think of one. Even Melbourne struggled without Hughes this year.

                        Suspended for what?

So many roster turnover, players left, new players and still the stupid errors. It’s got to be our training system and coach as there’s nothing else that’s stayed around for so long. I don’t expect change with stupid decisions like playing Egan who should have gone instead of May.
