I like Dom. He has X factor as his speed is unplayable at times but the defence has been really poor for a while. Mark N is the real deal and Billy S deserves an extended run in the side. Toia should also be afforded an opportunity to continue to develop as thus far he hasn’t really put a foot wrong and he’s only going to get better.

I’m hoping the stint in reserves helps Dom sharpen his deficiencies (running the ball straight for metres and defence) but it sounds like his attitude isn’t great if he is agitating for a release already. Hopefully all media spin.

What i find curious is that our more recent signings in Cheese, Young and Leniu...even Fifita
Each of these guys are talented role players but far from the complete package eg Young can't defend, Cheese can't play 60+, Leniu is an impact player best used for 30-40min stints off the bench not starting

But Robbo seems to think that he can change them - is it ego? because he is yet to be successful with a single one of these

Might explain why recruitment is going back to basics - if you want an 80min hooker sign Robson

Given our terrible injury record, we'd be crazy to let him go. Whilst he needs to work on a few areas, I still feel you could be quite useful. He's just down the pecking order at the moment.

I don't understand the DCE signing - i get that we are trying to go all in on a premiership in 2026
But if we lose the likes of Elliot, Savala, Smith or Rodwell...it's not worth it

Yeah pick up. Fifita is a good example. Relegated to reserve grade this week it looks like.

All 3 of them are terrible signings with Fifita being a terrible signing if he didn't backflip on us now he has been dropped less than a year later. The club will never lose its lust for a "name player" even if they don't fit in to the current squad or just aren't as good as their reputation suggests. It's mind boggling that someone at the club really thought that a lazy, half arsed at best David Fifita was a worthwhile signing on massive overs.

fifita and many of the titans are on their day players .

                        I'd rather a tups or Billy smith who is a solid 7 or 8 out 10 every game , rather then a fifita, campbell or dare i say young who gives you a 9 , 4 , 6 , 7 , 3 , 8 games on successive weeks .

penrith won 4 in a row with consistent 7 or 8 out of 10 players, we dont need on their day players , maybe 1 max.

Would agree although possibly unfair on Campbell. I think he's an absolute gun, and has done well consistently amongst a very hot and cold (mostly cold) side.

I agree with the premise though; that consistent players who play to a strong level each week are more valuable than your erratic players.
