  • Mase roasts broncos fan on his poddie

Just listened to Mase and Scope's poddie. Love it!!! Some Drongos fan came in and talked shyte via their comments over an extended period of time so the boys talked back. Mase roasted the guy big time... loved it!

Side note (I didn't realise it) they mentioned that Arthurs got ruled out for a week despite passing his HIA because he 'appeared rattled on the field' and the doctor decided it's safest if he misses the full 11 days. What a quality outcome. Hate to say it but he clearly milked a penalty there and then used it to get a free interchange... I was pretty pissed at the time. It's not a 'punishment' but I love how he can go off, get the free (milked) penalty, take the free interchange and then be told 'suck shyte... you're on the sideline next week because your acting was good enough to get a penalty so it's good enough to convince the officials that you were concussed'. Commonsense IMO... hopefully makes a few other players think twice about milking penalties.

I think I just saw Klemmer hit T Turbo in the head with a leading forearm.

Turbo now deemed with class 1 HIA.

No action from the ref or the bunker.

This double-standard shit has to stop.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

And now Luke Brooks is on report for a forearm to the head of the ball carrier whilst attempting a tackle. Not binned or anything similar to what Easts would cop. Unbelievable.

And now Haumole Olaetc is on report for another forearm to the head of an opposition ball carrier. No sin bin of course.

It was Jake, Tom is not playing, and he ran into Klemmer’s shoulder.

D'oh! Thanks for clarifying. It's still contact to the head isn't it?

It’s not illegal contact when you are the ball carrier. This is the thing. The NRL makes a song and dance about protecting the head of the ball carrier, but the highest number, and the worst concussions occur when attempting a tackle.

I'm not confident we'll pump anyone this season.

we lost to the titans and a souths team with jayden sullivan at half.

Yes, that's what I'm complaining about.

It's contradictory and inconsistent with their 'duty of care' blatherings.

That's because Townsend was at the helm.

You're better off playing with 12 men than having Chad out there making a meal of things.
