The NRL needs to do something about attacking players failing during tackles. I get Billy's shoulder made contact with Walsh's chin, but abit of common sense needs to be applied when handing out suspensions and charges.

I hate when players drop in contact I understand a penalty but to send someone off is just an incompetent ref looking to make a statement and doesn’t communicate with the players

there is nothing the player can do just going into make a standard contact in the last 2nd when a players head lowers into contact
it’s accidental so maybe a penelty but not on report and 10 in the bin

That was nothing more than a head clash, I don’t want to say he’s no risk because the NRL are redefining what a high tackle means every single game but surely there’s not way he’s getting charged for a head clash.

Yes I agree with you,but only concern is with the inconsistencies of the charges week to week..

NRL needs to be better with this rule,everyone seems to complain about it but nothing gets done..

If a player is standing there to make a tackle and the attacking player drops into his shoulder,where is the defender meant to go?

It’s a no win situation for the defender,surely common sense takes over when the charges are handed down?
