Covers so many positions for us. Great defender. Doesn't let us down.
If he played like that every week there would be no hate.
He ran hard and straight tonight, didn't drop the ball and the biggest shock he didn't give away a six-again.

It was butchers best hame of his career
let’s just see him pull those numbers off 6 weeks in a row or for the full season
has the odd good game then does silent for a while
consistency is the key
I do recall multiple years where he was on the chopping block and had a good game to bounce back for a week or two and then fall off again
last year for Anzac Day he was going to get dropped, someone got injured and he came out and had a blinder

Been saying for years this is Nat Buth’s best position is starting prop, 60 minutes. It’s not even the large number of running metres, it’s his work in defence around the middle. Between he and Watson they absolutely covered every half break or line break. I don’t even remember the Broncos breaking us once through the middle third, all their opportunities came down the edges.

I’ve always been a fan of Nat’s, he’s such a consistent player. One thing I am critical of him though is his lack of impact off the bench or through the middle in general. I think he’s a much better big minute lock or 80min edge. Last night he proved that has built on his game to be able to make an impact off the bench in that 2nd half.
I think Robinson nailed the side last night as well as the bench rotations given how effective our middles were coming off the bench.
Only issue is Mark HAS to be in the side. Billy was good, it means Toia or Young needs to likely drop out, for me it’s Young. He wasn’t much better last night.

I agree, however I believe he is only 97-98kg.
He need to put some weight on if that is the plan.
Very hard to be effective as a pig if you're under 100kg.
Average NRL prop weight is 108-110kg

I'm his biggest fan. Who was the moron on here the other day calling him a plodder? I know that fool Easts75 is one - you never see him after a win - but there was another one the other day. Front row is not even his best position, but the guy is a footballer. The try last night, not flashy, but you can see he got himself into the perfect position to swivel and get to the line. Nothing the defence could do after he got to that position, it was all over.
His defence is amongst the best in the competition, he never lets quick play the balls happen. He's a proper footy player, and whenever he doesn't play, we are so much the poorer.
