Didn’t have the pace to convert the broken line and looks for the easiest fast play the ball… why not.

Playing with a lot of controlled aggression....some good skills....Hugo definitely not out of his depth....a quality inclusion....the only real self imposed blemish was Sandons intercept pass...seen Keary do lots of those too!

Ref Gough loves putting players in the bin and on report.
At the SCG he put Radley on report 4 times against the Broncos.
it will be interesting how the 2nd half plays out with Gough and Klein in the box. Crichton likely will be suspended.

I agree with you it wasn’t even close to a penalty, gets him on the chest & nothing in it. Not Angus fault the flog he connected with is a midget. In saying that, the dumb part is he was charging forward but then turned hard left & lost momentum. If he runs straight he barrels their defenders & the ladyboy at the back.

I luv Billy Smith. If he had been injury free he is a regular Origin fixture in the centres. Was looking forward to him taking on the most physical centre in the game Staggs and he is killing it.

Our best 40 minutes of the season. Deserved leaders at oranges.

This referee really worries me. Has there been a crackdown on....everything?? We normally lose these high whistle, high stoppage games. His sinbin of Billy was beyond belief...just a good chest hard body check. Wow.

To be fair we are second to bottom & will 100% miss the 8, so he’s not far off the mark so far.
