  • Our next backup hooker

Brandy on 2ue just mentioned that he thinks we will sign some guy called Seluina from penrith as a replacement for Mitchell.

I've never really heard of him. Has anyone seen him play? Is he any good?

I still don't get why Mitchell wasn't given a proper chance.

I'm pretty sure he was the 9 for the Warriors Toyota cup side a few years ago when they won it. He'd be decent pick-up to replace Ant Mitchell.

Really good running dummy half, not a whole lot more to his game but a very explosive runner great for impact. Used to play for the Warriors

Gibbs also said his mail is that Oldifeld will join us mid season as a replacement for Perrett.

Everything should fall into place early next week Manly wont release him this week so he wont play against us also no surprise he got dropped to NSW cup this week and we obviously wont let Mitchell go till a replacement is found which looks like being Seluini.

If true Cleary has let him go at the Warriors and again at Penrith, he obviously doesn't rate him.

He played quite a few games last year for Penrith. My memory of him is that he looked like a pretty poor defender but as Rooster 6 said he is very quick from dummy half. He isn't a bad pick up but I thought Mitchell has done ok for us.

They said its clear that both smith & noyce have been left in the dark about the clubs negotiations so thats not a good sign about their own futures at our club.

That's the problem Fred, that's the bloody problem.

No matter who is put in charge if that's the attitude nothing will ever change.

Yes but it's not always like that. The coach normally does have large input, unless he's on the way out the door himself that is
