  • So SG Ball is over & Townsend & Elliott are the halves tomorrow in NSW Cup so where is this supposed champion Tobby Rodwell playing?

    • Let’s hope Sam plays next week in NSW for a hit out. I plan to turn up and support him. I went to NS Oval for his come from his knee injury 2 years ago and there was a lot of senior player support there that day. Go Roosters.

          • Big win in NSW Cup to Easts. 48-24. Tom Rodwell 4 tries. Wasn't trackside, might hear more from anyone who was.

                • What a top afternoon I had a Wentworth Park.
I didnt see the Jersey Flegg but I watched the NSW Cup, it was a good win.
I got there with my dog & saw Danial Anderson in his wheelchair sitting on the opposite side of the field with 1 other guy & was lucky enough to talk with him 1 on 1 for 20 minutes. Of course I asked him about DCE & he just said we'll wait & see. I just know (gut feeling) DCE is definitely coming.
I walked across to the Grandstand side & spoke with Toby Rodwell also getting a photo with him & of course I asked him about DCE & his reply was "I would love to learn from him"
I also spoke with both Seve brother they are so quiet shy boys but are both big boys. Got photos with them.
Then I went & sat in the Grand stand & spoke with 2 big Islander older blokes & 1 of them was Xavier & De La Salle Va'a dad & he is the loveliest man then I finally spoke to Trey Peni's dad who is also a nice man.
1 thing everyone said was that the Roosters are a top club & that Robbo is the Roosters.
I just love going to the lower grades & getting up close & personal with the young Roosters players & some of their parents.
Hopefully the Roosters FG team get the chocolates.

Sounds like a great Roosters arvo.
Did Toby say why he didn't play this weekend?

Jersey Flegg were run down again in the second half - up 28-18 with 20 to go - not able to put 80 minutes together unfortunately - been a number of matches like this

                        • I noticed both Seve brothers were starting props for Jersey Flegg this week, coming along nicely, especially Itulu who is only 18.

This pair are keepers and definitely worth nurturing. God willing, all going well, the Seve and Va'as brothers can be our mainstays for years to come.

Interestingly, when it comes to sets of brothers, Toia has one playing in our lower grades and there's a set of three talented bros coming through the CC systems.

                              The Roosters, the family club.
Get that up you Gus and co .

                              • Interesting to note that Dom Young didn't play NSW Cup this week and Ethan King was 18th man for NRL
I'm guessing his bags are already packed and he was driving up the M1
