  • What a win

Teddy said maybe our greatest ever in his time. Hard to argue with that. Although the usual hate squad no doubt will. Where is the Egg anyway? The only thing more certain than the sun coming up today was that the egg would grumble "Don't get too excited about one win". The miserable bastard. If you'll excuse me Egg, I am very excited. Got the replay on one screen and the races on the other. And hitting golf balls out the back. And having a cold one. Good god they played some fantastic footy last night, esp in attack. When was the last time Penrith conceded 38 points? At home. Who is our resident stats man - King Salvo? We hardly seemed to make an error with ball in hand.

This place is so much quieter after any win, let alone what we saw last night. It's so weird. Where are all the Robbo haters today? How many even have it in them to admit, albeit through gritted teeth "That was one hell of a win".

So many great performances from lesser name players, who stood up. Whyte, Marky Mark, Watson, the much maligned Sandon Smith, the much maligned Dom Young, the much maligned Townsend.

    It's a beautiful day.

It's a bit early for a Beer mate.

I think that's unfair. Plenty of members that have been critical have come forward to give the coach and players their flowers.

In your world maybe. It's a sunny Saturday afternoon Bates. Loosen up son.
