If we stand any chance of making the 8, we have to win the next 3 games against Manly, the Sharkies and $ouffs. After that we should win the next 5 against other struggling teams like the eels, raiders, titans, panthers and dragons. Then we can see what will happen against the dogs and tigers. By memory I think we can only lose 2 more games this year which is why the next 3 games are so important against good teams to set us up with momentum for the rest of the year.

We have 10 games plus a bye. If we can win 7 plus the bye gets us to 30 points and in the 8.
The 10 games are split into 5 we would hope to win (eels, raiders, titans, panthers and dragons) and 5 tougher games (manly, sharks, souths, tigers, dogs).
If we can win all 5 of the easier games then pick up 2 of the tougher games that would do it.
Seems achievable on yesterday's performance but whether we really played that well or the tigers just had an off day remains to be seen.
If we can pick up 2 of the next 3 it would give us plenty of hope.Comment

Actually I looked on the ladder and realised we have to beat other teams into the 8 as there are other teams competing.
I also realised that teams in the 8 are ahead of us just because they won more games and its not like they're waiting for us in the 8 and theyre gonna continue winning and we have to hve lie a 3 game streak and i also found out if we win 80% of our games we'll probably make the 8. This system is really wierdComment
