I think the youth is enthused - however the Playmaker/Captain & Coach are not. Which is sad... And amazing crew can keep a ship in tip-top condition... but without a captain to steer it or sails to push it its useless.

We lost to a 'youthful, under 20's' Brisbane Broncos team. Youth might have worked two years ago - when we made it to the GF, but it's no longer an excuse.

Therefore - the captain, coach and coaching staff have something to be accountable for. The talent is there, the problem lies in who would be the best person to bring out the best in these people.

Certainly not Smith, our beloved captain or some of the senior players the Roosters youth don't have a lot to learn or be inspired from.
