Seein as your bringing ur children I advise not to sit in the chookpen because of the swearing from frustrated fans.. Unfortunately we've bin getting penalized alot lately and that's when the passionate fans get most frustrated and let fly with the F's.

I was at Sunday's game and because everyone wanted a covered seat we wer all bunched together and watching the reaction of the elderly supporters with children and grand children, they were disgusted by some of the things supporters were yelling out. Just a heads up
    Is that the full story,
    or is your news limited?

Early do you mean 1/2 hour before kickoff because the stadium is still practically empty till 15 min before kickoff then it is around 50 to 60 percent. You will always get a seat undercover at a Roosters match this year, no worries.

Thanks for the warning and I have been worried about that given the talk on here the past few days. Hopefully we'll have a few wins before then and the supporters will have calmed down a bit. Otherwise, if the stadium is 2/3 empty like most of you say we'll have plenty of seats to move to. I certainly don't want my kids first live experience of the Roosters (at home) spoiled by bad language / behaviour etc as I do my best to keep them away from that sort of thing. When we see them play at Faiders Stadium I'm always telling them the raiders fans are the feral ones. I hope our fans don't make a liar out of me LOL!

My season ticket is in Row EE MightyRooster and I never get wet. I would agree with those who say GG or backwards (anywhere from GG to AA). The seats may be more expensive but at least if they are 'reserved' seats you know they are there, wet or dry. If it's dry you can always find spare seats further down towards the front once the game starts.

You won't get away from the occasional flurry of swear words whichever bay/row you sit in. I admit to being guilty of that myself. The footy does tend to bring out the worst in most of us, especially when the game is not going well for the Chooks.

i agree theres no room for swearing in a public area? the odd bloody hell is acceptable as is the ref is a w..ker as it affects our side the most but as for the rest go out to moore park and yell it! in fact im seriously considering moving oiver to area 13 next season for that reason, im only still in the pen because of some long term mates who sit there!

Those Telegraph reporters should go and sit next to the Knights Nannas then. Sweet little old ladies from Newcastle they are not! They are well and truly into their twilight years, yet swear like sailors.
